Fish N' Ting On The Go — Restaurant in City of Mount Vernon

$23 for 8 pieces of shrimp swimming in watery garlic sauce in one container and a handful of rice and a half of handful of rice in another container. So they don’t have good business sense cause neither portion was enough to fill either container, lesson learned for me I won’t be going back. Mt Vernon has other restaurants that I would gladly pay the overpriced fee to because the portions are big. I’m still hungry never again. Called ahead of time female on the phone wasn’t helpful nor polite. Now they have another location that is reputable however this one isn’t, it’s the arrogance for me and the outright robbery or skimming of the food. I brought this same dish back when they opened I had 12 shrimp and the garlic sauce was creamy. So the quality of food has declined making another reason for it not to be worth $23 Now I don’t wanna bash a black owned establishment so I hope the owners and read this review and do better because I know they can. Usually you get a nice size portion when it comes to the sides in places similar to this and I know cause I eat at lots of other Jamaican restaurants. On 5/20/23 @ approx 5pm, I called to place an order for chicken chopsuey and a medium fried chicken. The Person taking the order was very rude. She said since I was requesting the vegetable in the chopsuey to be crunchy, that I was to come in the restaurant and place the order, so that I could wait, for the 1/2 hour while the chopsuey was being prepared. I asked her why was she yelling and she put the phone down prior to saying give me a minute. She then came back to the phone to say that the Chef said that I was to come in person to place the order and wait while the food was being prepared. The Customer Service was poor and the yelling didn't help. I usually order from Fish and Ting, Mt. This food was so disgusting, I’m so disappointed I usually go to the one on Boston Road, but wasn’t in the area so I went to the take out to go and the image below is my results. I ordered a medium curry goat white rice and got what looks like a small, but that’s not the point .Most of it was fat with bone. I will never go back. I’m not sure if this place is associated with the one on Boston road, but if it is something needs to change this place is Not standing by the name.
