Jus' Jerk — Restaurant in City of Mount Vernon

By far the worst service I've received from any establishment in my life. I would have gotten better treatment from Klansman in a sunset town after dusk. I went there at the recommendation of the owners father who lives only a few blocks away in a beautiful ranch house across from a school. He even gave me a coupon for a free meal which i forgot to bring the only time i went. After such a bad experience, I immediately went home and ripped up the coupon. Im waiting for the day they shut down to go back and cuss them out.

To the owner: I will not retract my comment, I'm referring to your establishment on East Third Street in Mount Vernon, NY. The school I referred to is Edward Williams, the ranch was in Union Avenue. Tell me I dealing with the wrong establishment now: I'm talking about you, no one else. Instead of trying to deflect, you should be ashamed of the poor interaction you had with a customer that would have one post a review about it. It was not your staff, it was you. Very unscrupulous and dishonest people here. I was home with my sick child. I ordered using Uber a large chicken soup and brown stew fish. Someone from Jus Jerk called and said that they don't have what I ordered. The male person then proceeded to say that they are.not able to cancel the uber order from the restaurant and if I could. I did not realize that if I canceled I would still be charged by Uber. The restaurant knew that that's why they didn't cancel the order from their end. When Uber eats called the restaurant to confirm that they could not honor my order they refused to participate or confirm the order. I can't get my money back. Guys beware of JUS JERK , they robbed me of $42. when they didn't have what I ordered. I only wish I could have rated them 0 instead of 1. Before the day is out. I hope they loose 100 times what they robbed me and...

The owner was on spot and greeted me warmly and stayed his name. It is obvious that he is fully involved both in the customer service area and in the kitchen. There a decent line of people waiting to be served and when my time came to times be served the attendant who took my order did it with a smile and informed me that one if the items I ordered will not be ready for another ten minutes and offered a seat on one of the chairs in the waiting area and also a complimentary non alcoholic drink of my choice because I had to wait for an extra ten minutes. The time frame that was promised was fulfilled within the specified time. Last but not least the appearance and cleanliness of the customer service and seating areas was spotless and arranged neatly.
