Real Brazilian BBQ — Restaurant in City of Mount Vernon

Update: I’m done with this place. I’ve eaten here probably 15 times in the last 4 years. The last few have been bad. They just let food sit there for hours if it hasn’t been eaten. You have no idea if food is fresh or there a long time. Sometimes I take things that are very dry or cold. Tonight, though the real problem was the bbq meat which has typically been fine. My friend got some steak and chicken and I got chicken. The chicken is different than before. It was like a bland smoked chicken flavor, not the salty flavorful moist one from before. Also overcooked. I didn’t try my friends steak but he thought it was spoiled. He barely ate it. Last thing was the music. Just like in my original review where I mentioned the Dominican music, well they again had Dominican music here. The same Romeo Santos songs over and over, each song sounding the same. BRAZILIAN IS IN THE NAME OF YOUR RESTAURANT PLAY BRAZILIAN MUSIC OR CHANGE YOUR FOOD TO DOMINICAN. And if a customer asks you to change the music to Brazilian, then change the music. Don’t say ok sure and then not change the music. Just say no, don’t lie. Awful service in this place.

Original review: I’ve eaten here many times. The food is very very good. My only issue is the music. It’s a Brazilian restaurant but they play Dominican music. I asked them to change it to Brazilian music and they said ok. It took them 10 minutes to change it, then after 10 minutes of Brazilian music they went back to the Dominican music. I rated 3 stars overall not because of the food but because of the staff and their lack of attention to detail.

First off, the food was delicious, full of flavor and properly cooked.

However, the staff left a bad taste in my mouth because two things. They left something off my order; ordered Yuka and sausage and only got Yuka.

Secondly, I chose curbside pickup because parking is difficult in the area and double parking is likely to get you a ticket. I ended up having to go inside to pickup after waiting outside forever. Due to the location and the reason I gave above, curbside delivery should...

Overpriced and overcooked

Very disappointed after seeing all the good reviews. I decided to order on UberEats and the food came in a timely manner. Meat was overcooked and rubbery to the point of being borderline gum.

Chicken wings were very clearly frozen from a package and reheated, and if they weren't that's even more sad cause they were the most soggy sad looking things I've ever had the displeasure of biting into.

The meat being served here would've been better off staying on the supermarket shelf. And this isn't even to mention the crazy prices. I would give this zero...
