The Cozy Cup — Restaurant in City of Mount Vernon

You feel like you have escaped to an entirely different era of gentility and leisure and quality food here. The people who work here are some of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered. The decor with beautiful, oversized, watercolor flowers, a pink retro telephone, and a banquet with soft pillows compels you to want to stay forever, away from the noisy, crowded world.

Then there’s the delicious carefully prepared food. Her empanadas are better than I’ve ever tasted. There are a small small section of elegant but each one of them is carefully curated to be the pinnacle of the blend. There are treats like cookies and an irresistible fresh chocolate fudge cake. People who want to indulge in a British tea are also welcome to have one of their multiple varieties of scones with clotted cream.

I can’t think of a better place to have tea when you want reasonably priced...

5 stars – A Magical Tea Party Experience! I can’t recommend The Cozy Cup enough! Celeste was incredibly accommodating when I reached out with a last-minute request for her traveling tea party services, to celebrate my daughter’s 8th birthday. We hosted the party at home, and Celeste made the entire experience seamless and special.

She provided everything we needed — beautiful teapots, teacups, saucers, stands, and of course, the most delicious tea and food. Everything was delivered right into my kitchen with clear, thoughtful instructions, making setup a breeze. The treats were absolutely scrumptious, and the girls had an unforgettable time.

I celebrated my daughters 9th birthday at the cozy cup! She enjoyed a cookie decorating class and absolutely love it ! She especially liked the pink hot chocolate- needless to say shes a girly girl! I loved the ambient, music was upbeat yet relaxed - the teas were delicious - the pastries were tasty and the best part is that all ages enjoyed themselves! My mom is elderly and was all about the freshly brewed coffees and fancy tea cups! I appreciated the cleanliness and the staff being attentive to our every need! I encourage others to enjoy the vintage vive and family friendly atmosphere! The owner is a gem and makes you feel at home! The cozy cup is going to be a preferred spot...
