Alfredo's Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

Im giving 2 stars not for the taste of the pizza but the way I was treated. This would be my second time ordering from them and my first time went well but the last time was horrible. I made the order online at around 7:45pm, at 8:10 I received email saying my order was finished and on the way. When 9:30 came around I decided to call and see where my order was. They told me the driver had already delivered the pizza! He said he rung the bell and gave it to a guy! Me and my husband had been waiting for our door to. ring and nothing. My husband and I had to go back and forth with them trying to convince them that the driver gave the order to the wrong people!!! I don't know who or how but I know my card was being charged for it. Upon first entry the place was nice and so was the worker who directed me and my group of friends to the bathroom. Then walking out we were debating on stopping by again to grab a slice of pizza because the whole place smelt amazing, however a different worker makes sure to chime in on the way out and says “You know you have to ask next time when you want to use the bathroom.” with an unnecessary amount of attitude considering when we walked in initially our first question was “Can we use your bathroom please?”. After telling him we did in fact ask beforehand he doubled down and said “Oh really? Who did you ask?”. We then pointed at the worker who showed us where the bathroom was and he said “You still have to buy something!”. Which I will not spend a dime there thinking you can talk people...

This place came highly recommended by family and friends. The phrase someone used was "it's just like really good N.Y. pizza" I tried it and have never been disappointed, until recently, when the Pizza and calzone tasted different so I called to let them know. I gave the message to the cashier and felt well at least I vented and would give them another chance. Everyone has an off day. A short time later I received a call from the manager explaining to me to please excuse the difference they tried a different kind of cheese.
