Mister Taco — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I used by come here everyday as I work nearby and I always order the same thing, 2 burritos. I get them almost plain, naturally with good customer service you eventually memorize the order after coming so many times.

I call in my order for pick up as usual and as I get back to work on my lunch break to eat, I realize they gave me the wrong type of chicken. Although not specified I’ve never had to specify before and never had an issue before. I call back to see if I can get them remade, I get an attitude saying she asked me what kind of chicken I wanted even though she did not.

The young lady states I would have to pay for my full order to get them remade, Can I bring them back for a refund? NO. Since I took my food out of the store for less than 10 minutes I could not receive a refund.

Messed up order, waste of lunch break, waste of money, waste of time. As someone who works in customer service I am shocked for this situation to be handled this way.

This restaurant rather had me pay $10 to get my food instead now they are loosing on hundreds of possible dollars because of this one awfully handled situation I refuse to comeback and will not recommend this place to others. Such a shame as I try to support small local owned business, easily could’ve gone to McDonalds, Dominós, Dunkin etc, next time just going to the pizzeria...

I’ve been eating food from Mister Taco for years and they’ve been in business since 1981. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. Their Chorizo is very unique and different from many others that I’ve tried and I’m addicted to it. The family that owns Mister Taco is kind, respectful and hardworking. They work very hard to make sure the customers are well fed and happy! They are a wonderful asset to the New Rochelle community and always take care of their customers! Their homemade hot sauce is literally one of my favorite sauces in the world and I always request two cups with my burritos because I just can’t get enough! Not do good, I’ve had much better, however it might be good for around these parts as I just moved here from NYC. For starters I asked for pico de Gallo for my tacos on the side , which I wants to pay for and the owner informed me that these tacos were traditional and if I wanted that , I would have to wait 15-20 minutes, plus she wasn’t very nice. As for the tacos, they were okay at best, the meat was extremely tough and chewy and didn’t have much flavor.
