This is one of the best Indian places in the area. They have a menu with good variety from all regions of India and several options for those who are vegetarian. In addition they also have a lunch buffet with some of the more common menu choices. Everything on the menu I have tried so far has been well worth the price. One word of warning would be that when the menu indicates "spicy" it is being honest.
The portions are well sized and I almost always end up taking some food home with me. I would also give a thumbs up to the service. The staff are very attentive and polite, even when customers may not be. On a couple occasions when I visited they also have had live music in the form of a solo guitarist.
All in all a highly recommended place to have a meal. The only negative that I would include, which is no fault of the restaurant, is simply the limited parking. With a limited number of street spaces and a small municipal garage across the street you may have to walk a ways from where you can...
Read moreI first started getting delivery from Coromandel in Stamford years ago and since I lived in Larchmont I have regularly ordered from Coromandel New Rochelle, and the food is always outstanding. As a vegetarian I really appreciate the great non-meat options, but the rest of my family can vouch for the non-veggie dishes too. Delivery is always on-time, correct and most importantly, delicious. My personal favourite is the Paneer Makhani. Please consider ordering from their own website to help these guys out rather than sending a big chunk of the bill to a middle man - their own site is very easy to use and...

It's a nice restaurant, spacious, clean, and good servers. Parking sucks around this area. You'd have to pay if you want a close spot or you can park a block away in the home areas and walk.
The food is not bad, but somethings dissapont me about the food:
They put everything in those dome lids so certain foods lose their texture like fried, and grilled items. A huge dissapointment was the naan bread. They stuff it into the domes so they just end up being steamed bread. That's one thing that sets certain Indian buffets apart. Good places at least make a batch and then deliver to your tables. They didn't have goat/lame briyani. You've got to have that.
I...
