What a wonderful experience, recently got a chance to dine in in this amazing restaurant. This is a perfect place to go if you are craving Indo Chinese food, as an Indian who recently moved in this area I am beyond happy to find this place. Beautiful decor, warm people and most importantly the food! Holy cow! Where do I begin, we ordered chicken 65 which happens to be my most favorite thing, and I was not disappointed! It was BOMB! The fish and chicken were so succulent, probably just came out of the tandoor oven. The naans were crisp and fresh. And the nachos was a brilliant idea. We asked for spicy food and surprisingly it was just how we like it. One of my friends was vegan and they happily accommodated her too. The owner was really nice to us, he explained the concept and the idea behind this cuisine, we are so impressed. Definitely coming back here! ❤️ Cheers to Curry N Wok! Edit: They have the Best Goat Biriyani. Loaded with meat, saffron...
Read moreI had this food for free. Thank god I didn’t pay for it cause the food is terrible, tastes nothing like curry. I feel like allot of these reviews are from their friends. Anyways, The chef puts WAY too much Cumin/Jeera/curry powder. This guy isn’t a chef bro like my mom cooks curry everyday so does my wife and we’re Bengali, this is terrible food. They most likely just use the shaan mix powders to cook, they don’t make their own masala / base with the individual powders like we do at home, that’s why home food taste better and like actual desi food.
If you’re desi then stay away cause you won’t like it.. if you’re uncultured or like an unseasoned White/Caucasian then you’ll probably like it cause it’s new to your tongue and a new experience for you cause your food is usually bland or just salt/pepper and butter, but overall from someone who eats Bengali food on a daily basis at home, I’d be upset if I...
Read moreI've enjoyed CurrynWok's food many times but this was my first dine-in experience. It was wonderful! I will definitely go with the family again.
More details below:
This is a peaceful place to eat with the family and the food is second to none in the area. The service is warm and unobtrusive in the spirit of Indian hospitality. The restaurant itself is well-designed so that the smaller setting still feels spacious and comfortable - it has a cosy and bright atmosphere. I've mostly eaten their indian dishes so that's what I can review here. But our whole party enjoyed everything we had. We had "mild spice" for my 5 yr old and it was actually perfectly balanced: mild heat but full of flavor - Kid-friendly.
All in all, I have to say This is by far, one of my favorite restaurants in Westchester - and in my opinion, the best South Asian restaurant in...
