Bagel Power — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

Bagels I tried are decent, but service from a certain male cashier was unbelievably rude, downright obnoxious in fact. The gentleman who picked out my bagels (who was nice) hadn’t kept track of what I ordered, so he was uncertain about the total number. No problem. Place was busy, and I didn’t mind trying to help.

My way of attempting to assist was by telling the cashier exactly what I was getting AND literally showing it all to him from the brown paper bags. Big mistake. He starts yelling at me “I’M NOT ASKING YOU! I’M ASKING HIM!” I replied something like “Well, it’s not a big deal. I’m just counting the bagels and showing them to you.” Again, he screams the line about not asking me but rather the other employee.

This was the most appalling customer experience I ever had (and I’ve been around awhile)! I will never go back to this place. Plenty of other good options in the neighborhood, To boot, this is apparently the only place that doesn’t take credit cards or Apple Pay in the year 2022, only cash. I wonder...

Do not miss this place! You have got to come here at least once. I have never seen or heard of a rainbow bagel before in my life. It's absolutely the most extraordinary thing you can set your eyes on. They also have a Russian bagel that is dark with onions on the inside and poppy seeds on the outside. They make their bagels on site throughout the day. They have all sorts of toppings for bagels and can make you a nice hot breakfast for lunch. The place is small and quaint. It's not cheap by any means but the prices are fair. The host and hostesses are wonderful. They do things with bagels that people dream about, like a flat one, or a twisted one, or odd flavors. A dozen bagel is $12 they give you 13 in total. That's a good deal. I recommend this...

I went here today September 14th and ordered an everything bagel with egg and cheese. The bagel was very good. The egg was cooked in a microwave and when the guy broke the egg in the bowl it was cooked in it had some egg shells mixed in. I give the rating of 3 because the bagel was good but the egg shells on my sandwich and being cooked in a microwave just doesn't agree with me. They have a full kitchen in the back of the store, just get a commercial hot plate and it...
