Sakura New York — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

SUCH A RUDE WAITRESS MADE WALK OUT!!! First visit: Staff were lacking in service. Undertones of anger when they pretended to be nice. No service at all while waiting for a friend for 15 mins.... I would've liked a beverage. The waitress was very rude about explaining no substitutions to my friend. Sushi was meh, not awful, not great. Second and last chance: I walked in alone at 4:30 and was not even welcomed for 3-5 mins though the waitress saw me. So I just stood there. Mind you there was one occupied table and one dirty table in front of the window. I finally decided to seat myself in a larger booth to watch my car since I parked right in front in the shade on a hot day next to other people (I don't trust kids to not hit car doors) and I was going to eat and run. The waitress did not greet me when she finally addressed my presence but instead ORDERED me to move to a smaller booth. I explained that I would like to keep an eye on my car and that I will eat quickly because I was alone and I had to get going as soon as I was done. Again, she rudely ordered me to switch tables. Again explained nicely that I'd eat quick and I already knew what I wanted to order. AGAIN that waitress barked at me about moving. After she barked and and threw a nasty attitude, I walked out. She lost me and two of my other friends as customers. Stay away. Couldn't find more rude...

This is definitely a five-star restaurant. I don't get five stars often. This restaurant is very attentive to detail when you're forth. First walk in the restaurant is beautifully appointed. You're quickly seated and the staff is very attentive. I'm impressed because there were five sushi chefs all lined up in uniforms making their meals constantly. The food is amazingly good. by far has got to be my favorite restaurant ever. ive gone at least once a week with parents or friends the past year, and know the place by heart. the workers are extremely polite, know what they are doing and know your regular after a while. ive tried various things on their menu and it is all great tasting and made with completely fresh ingredients. the restaurant itself is also beautiful and well decorated. i recommend the restaurant to everyone!! even if you don’t like seafood or sushi, there is something on the...
