Joe’s Chicken — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

Hello, so I am so disappointed! I went to new Rochelle HS as a child, and about a year ago I recently moved to Maryland. I am now 4 months pregnant and expecting and I literally drove from Maryland to New York to go get Chicken Joes because I was craving it so badly! We get there course traffic is unforeseen. But we arrive at 6:43pm they should be making their last meals by then! Seeing as how they closed at 7pm as advertised on their website! They were inside counting out their money closing out the store, and I knocked on the window showing them like your website says you close at 7pm. Closing early as a business that has their times advertised online is bad business. I was so disappointed. A 4 hour ride wasted! And even if I wasn’t pregnant and craving I would have left this review. Because it’s again bad business. You do not close almost 17 min to what’s advertised online. But having worked in many restaurants I can tell you fresh chicken is rare because it's a major challenge. In order for it to be economical they need to sell a really large amount of chicken, so generally only spots that specialize actually serve unfrozen chicken. I’ve ordered from here a bunch of times over the last few years. Always get the same thing. The tasty fries special that came with fries and chicken bites and onion rings. The chicken bites are nothing more than fried batter, there’s literally no chicken and the check on you do find is small and tough.
