When you walk into Nissan of New Rochelle , everything looks nice. The guys are super friendly. They even ring a bell, shake your hand and SING to you when you buy a car. All the salesmen at the same time like it's your birthday at a restaurant. The great customer service basically stops at that very moment. My husband is a dialysis patient who can't afford to have a car break down on him right now. He went into the dealership looking for a RELIABLE vehicle. He stressed the word reliable to them multiple times. They assured him over and over that this truck was great and if he had any issues, he can come back. We were buying from a dealership and not from craigslist or from someone random because we thought a vehicle being "Nissan Certified" meant something, but apparently not. The first day we had the vehicle, the tire sensor alarm lit up. We went back to the dealership and sat around for a few hours while they looked at it. They said they fixed it so we left. The next day, the tire sensor alarm lit back up. We went in again, waited a few hours and they said it was repaired. This went on for over 3 weeks. We would go home and the truck would be fine for a few days and then the sensor would light back up. Eventually they fixed it. My husband spent between 35-40 hours in their dealership during that time, waiting. We asked that our 30 day warranty be restarted since we had spent the entire month basically sitting around their showroom waiting for repairs. They denied our request but assured us that if anything went wrong, we could come in. I didn't like the sound of that, but my husband was tired of dealing with them, so he left. A month later, our car won't start. We find out it's the alternator. So ALLLLLLL those times the truck was in there garage, no one saw the alternator was about to go, huh?!?!?!? The guy at Auto Zone seemed to know more about our car than the mechanics at the Nissan of New Rochelle dealership. He told us that they would have known the alternator was gonna go when they ran the tests. They CHOSE to sell it to us that way. We went into the dealership and they told us they would fix it for $700. So, we haven't had the car running right for a solid month and already need to put $700 into it....and lemme tell you, this car wasn't cheap!!!!!!!! I'm so disappointed with this experience. This is my third Nissan and I like their vehicles but never will I ever buy another one again. I should have gone over there. My advice for the owner is to read some of the complaints people are making about your dealership and clean up your service. For a $700 alternator you guys lost a life long customer. Is it worth it? That's...

The price that’s listed is NOT even close to the price you will pay (even with taxes, fees and dealership charges). On autotrader and their website it was listen for 12,135$- a great deal for a 2013 VW tiguan with 60k miles. It’s the last day of the month and just listed i felt like they just wanted to get it off the lot. On their website it says 14,995 with 3,000$ “carCASHian” savings. Come to find out, the price of 12,135$ is only if you finance (not including the FIVE THOUSAND dollars of fees they add-1/2 being taxes and fees and the other half being outrageous dealership charges). So 1. why is it called “carCASHIan” savings if that’s only the price for financing?? And 2. I offered to pay cash for the listed price of 12,135$ Asking to include taxes and fees in that price and I was prepared to negotiate. Come to find out they bring me a paper saying that if I want to pay cash the car is 20,000$!!!! And if I want to finance the car is 17,000 with taxes, fees and dealership charges. Mind you this is for a 2013 car??? The car had two tires with tares in them, severely scratched hub caps, brakes were iffy and scratches and dings everywhere. I was even wondering if the car was worth the asking price with all the scratches/chips and dings and damage to the tires/hub caps. They were asking me to pay 2000$ for the inspection alone (which why am I paying to inspect the car that YOU originally bought and are selling to customers?), 600$ for commission and administration?! So I’m paying 600$ for you to put paperwork together that you can put together in 10 minutes? Absolutely crazy. I understand how dealerships works and they have their fees but nobody in their right mind looking to pay 12-13k on a car is going to agree to pay 17-20k. They are wasting their time and the customers time. The manager comes out to tell me that A. “they don’t just put random numbers together when they price the car”.. well really? Kind of seems like you do when you have a listing for 5k less than whats online and B. He says they need to price competitively to get customers in the door especially because of online car shopping. How is this competitive pricing? I can go on carvana and buy a 2016/2017 model for the same price delivered to my DOOR.! I traveled 2 hours to get there. I guess I should’ve known. Absolutely RIDICULOUS and I’m never going to a...
Read moreThe biggest mistake I ever made was dealing with the New Rochelle Nissan. They are all robbers and hungry for money. Last year, in March 2023, I bought rogue SV for lease for 18 months. They gave me a good deal which was $325 per month. I appreciate that. But I was not interested in leasing for just 18 months. So, I told the dealer that I can take the vehicle right now if it’s for 24 months. They said they can’t do that. Later, after some bargaining, she said they can only give for 18 months now. But when you reach near the lease end, I cancel, them or come in person and they can extend for 6 more months with same payment. I trusted them. So, after like 14 or 15 payments, I went to dealer in person and talked to them about extending lease period. That time they said that offer ended. Every year, these offers will change. No one told me about these. And then I received many calls from them stating that if needed, I can return the car to them before the lease ends, and they will waive the remaining payments. Because some other customer was waiting to buy the car since I have low miles. I drove just under 8500 miles in 17 months. But I was not ready and was planned to wait till the end of the lease period. Still, I received many calls again from them. Then I changed my mind and decided to return the car with the remaining one last payment. When I went to return the car, I made sure the guy who I was returning the number plates about waiving the last payment. He said OKAY. He didn’t say anything. After some weeks, when I signed in to Nissan account, I noticed that they included the remaining last payment with the disposition fees. I was totally upset about their dealing. I went to Nissan in person, and they said, if I was buying a new car or if it was for 36 months period, they would waive like that. In this case, it is a loss to them. That’s what they said. If I knew it before, I would never return the car and would keep it until it ends. Why would I pay after returning the car for no reason? They never disclose any of this vital information to me. Every time, they say different things and different people too. It is not about money or whatever. It is like cheating. That’s what made me upset. I can understand most of the car dealers are so crooked. I have been many times to buy the car with different dealers. But I never had an experience like this. STAY...
