My parents have been going to Angees for 40 plus years and I’ve come my entire life and we’ve always been satisfied, that all changed tonight. First of all once we were seated we got our drink order taken and received our drinks, it was another 15 plus minutes before the server came back to take our order (they were not busy). We ordered artichoke dip and three of us got salads. The appetizer and salads came out at the same time. The artichoke dip was only half full. We weren’t even done with our salads before all our food came out, when our food came out we asked for rolls (which we all know come immediately once seated or at least with our appetizers) the food was terrible. The fries not even cooked, the chicken bruschetta was soggy, the salads were drenched in sauce, lettuce barely even chopped up, the steak sandwich had the wrong ingredients and was flavorless. Not once did the waitress ask to refill our drinks the entire time, all patrons at our table would’ve loved another beverage. Only after we made eye contact with the waitress in the back room who was on her phone did she come ask how everything was, we were polite enough to say okay, even though she could tell we weren’t pleased. Unfortunately this experience has left a bad taste in all of our mouths and angees has lost 4 semi frequent customers after tonight the service was all around terrible and the food was the cherry on top. Side note, we over heard the table behind us ask her to split their check and...

Went to this restaurant while traveling during a week night. The restaurant seemed clean and a friendly environment, not fancy. Ordered a couple of dinner meals for my wife and I. Shrimp dinner of some sort in a cream sauce. The sauce was good, but he shrimp and pasta was swimming in the sauce, not well put together. There were only 5 shrimp, and the shrimp were left with the tails. Parts of the dish were hot enough; other parts were not. Special of the night. Ordered a veil over hollow pasta. Again, the red sauce was good, dish was served hot, but the veil was more of a chunked or shredded veil and overly well done. The generous amount of sauce is what saved this meal. What was the shocker was the bill, the special was $32, well above the average $20 of other dinner meals on the menu. Nowhere did I see this posted. This is kind of BS trick you normally find in big city restaurants, I did not expect this. For this amount, I would have expected an actual piece of veil properly cooked. I would still say that this would be a good place to go and eat, but stick to what I believe must be in their wheel house, sandwiches, standard pasta meals, and the typical menu fair. I wish there was a 2.5 star rating, that is where I would really see this place rated from...
Read moreI am giving the food and service 5 stars, however I am giving the building only 1.5 stars (the .5 is for the really nice patio they have). The FOOD IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I stop here every time I am in town for a week. However I will only eat on the Patio. I have been getting the chicken alfredo recently and it is really really good. The shicken is o so tender. The fresh bread was the topper. The croutons on the salad had just the perfect flavor. They brought the mediocre salad up to par (I am not much of a salad eater anyways so that took little bearing into my opinion).
Last time I ate there I showed up fairly late in the even and wan't expecting to be deated do the time however they sat me down and served me a great meal even late at night and it didn't even seem to phase the wait staff or cook.
The Patio is quite quaint. However the inside needs some major renovations. Don't Plan on using the bathrooms as they are stuck in the 1950's. This place has so much potential! If only they would upgrade the inside to reveal that potential. The bar was the most popular feature inside. However I would take the bar out and make it a very classy restaurant if I was the owner. Probably would quadruple...
