KFC — Restaurant in City of Olean

Terrible service. Worst place to eat in Olean. Ordered at 8:18 and was told we would wait 25 minutes. 30 minutes go by and I call to check up on my order cause it’s been TOO long. Then they said, “oh the chicken will be out in 1 minute”. 15 minutes later, we then proceeded to go inside to check on the order because it was way past that “1 minute”. We go in just to find out our order wasn’t even started and that the manager had the audacity to give us attitude because we are asking about our order. We got our order 1 hour later since they completely forgot it. They made so many excuses, they gave the chicken to other customers who ordered before us, they blamed it on the fact that it takes “40 minutes” to prepare, batter, & fry it— okay, so prepare earlier if you know there’s a rush during dinner time. Then, their next excuse was that they just got rid off their old employees so “most” of their employees were under training. Okay, understand. Then when we finally got our order— she told me that we had to wait ANOTHER 7 minutes because the biscuits weren’t ready and instead, gave us cookies. They did not offer any compensation or apologies. This is not the 1st time it happened but I’m so fed up with this KFC that I’m actually taking the time to write this review and say how bad their service was. I would give them a zero if it were possible. I sat in their drive thru for around 25 minutes before I could even order. My order was simple… a few wraps, and a chicken sandwich , not only did they have us pull foward but also forgot about us! And gave our food to someone else! We sat in front of everyone because they told us to pull up for 15 minutes before I got out and went in they pretty much ignored me and then someone tried to hand me the wrong food. When I told them it wasn’t mine they walked away and no one approached me again for over 10 minutes. Finally someone asked me what I ordered and then walked away. 5 more minutes later they informed me they forgot about us and gave out food to someone else. I finally got my food around 40 minutes after I paid for it I wonder if they would have ever noticed that we were still waiting. One simple sorry is all I got and no compassion. This is a fast food place I get it u are stressed but it’s not hard to be apologetic at least. If u don’t have customer service skills maybe u should find another job, people spend their money here waiting for food and they don’t even get what they want. Drive-through only, no dining-in. The absolute best fast food restaurant I've ever been to. The staff are extremely friendly, very accommodating, they even add a little extra if you had a longer wait or some other problem not in either yours nor thier control. They say things like "have a nice night, drive safe, added extra sauce for you to try", seriously, seems small but it's a breath of fresh air to finally see polite fast food staff, EVERY TIME I go, not once, but ALWAYS. ** let me add this, some of these poor reviews are based on the restaurant running out of food (1) that means the food sold out, because its good! (2) The employees in drive-through are NOT in the kitchen, they dont know they ran out of something until you order it and the kitchen says "we're out"
