Napoleon Cafe — Restaurant in City of Oneida

This place is usually good but, I was really disappointed tonight. I ordered their curbside dining and got grilled tenderloin sautéed portobello over mashed potatoes & broccolini and shrimp vodka riggies which both entrees came up to $38.88. The grilled tenderloin was raw and inedible, it was still cold! I don't mind a rare steak but this was disgusting. I called to let them know and Jim said he could remake it but didn't tell me when it'd be ready....One of the salad dressings were wrong also. UPDATE They called me back and offered to deliver the food to me! But I was leaving my house anyway so I picked it up. The guy was super apologetic and gave me a free meal for the inconvenience. They totally made up for their mistake. The steak was cooked this time and they even gave me another salad. That was more than expected and I appreciate the effort to fix their wrong. Stopped for lunch on our way upstate, and I got the buffalo chicken sandwich + sweet potato waffle fries. Best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time - the pretzel bun was soft, the fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and there was a good amount of the buffalo + grogonzola without the sandwich being drenched, like you get some places. Wasn't sure if I'd like the maple + sage sauce that comes with the waffle fries, but it works. Great...

Popped in for lunch from the Thruway after it was recommended by a former local. The place was perfect for our lunch needs and the food was delicious and fast. A rather lively restaurant in contrast to the rest of the block with it's empty storefronts. Was thrilled to see the Oneida stamp on the silverware. A truly local establishment. I will absolutely...
