31 Express — Restaurant in City of Oneida

I ordered a breakfast sandwich the lady was rude when she answered the phone. I went in and said I’m here for my order she sighed and got it out of the warmer up front(I didn’t know a order would be in there) I asked if it’s the ham and bacon to make sure, she rudely said YUP. Then she says “well that’s what you ordered ofc it’s going to be on there” as if places don’t make mistakes and it was a huge deal I asked. So miserable. I then called to see if there was an owner I could talk to and she said I am the owner I have a migraine it’s slow today..? So that means you are rude and miserable to someone for no reason. If you are so miserable somewhere you run then don’t do it..! She clearly is a mean miserable woman but certainly doesn’t hide it well. I would’ve recommended there and given them service often if her demeanor was 100% the opposite. Again clearly you are a miserable person migraine or not customer service makes such a difference even if she kept the rude comments to herself and put on a fake smile(like most of the world does when in customer service, I know we all have bad days we’ve all been there I would never say otherwise) most people keep it to themselves I was shocked someone so rude owns a...

The only reason I can't rate the atmosphere is I didn't eat there. I recently had an event that I had catered (take-out) by 31 Express. The owner's customer service on the phone was great and her prices were the best I found after talking to several other local caterers. The cheaper price definitely did not equate to lower quality. I ordered a pan of chicken riggies, a pan of pulled pork, and a pan of tossed salad. All three dishes were excellent! The riggies were some of the best I've had, with a nice level of spice that was good for all palates at our event. I have a similar review of the pork; their sauce was very tasty! The salad was also very nice, presented beautifully with lots of cucumbers and tomatoes and darn near a full dozen hard-boiled eggs used and the dressings we got on the side were excellent. Never had one hitch in the whole process, despite somewhat short notice on the order. I recommend 31 Express Deli 100% for your event, and if their mass-made dishes were that good, I can only imagine their in-store orders...

Delicious subs. Variety of drinks and chips. Homemade pasta salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, broccoli salad, cookies and brownies. Many bread options and ingredients as well. I had a turkey sub on wheat which was really good. The bread was sweet and reminded me of molasses. My boyfriend had the turkey on the Italian bread and said it was good as well.
