Origlio’s Wagon Wheel Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Oneida

Had dinner here with my parents here on a Monday night. Sadly, we are in town for my Uncle's Funeral, being my Dad's home state. We just managed to make it before they closed up early (not a lot of customers that night). Sampled some of their draft selection. I had a simple pasta with sausage, my parents split a Chicken cacciatore. The sauce they have is wonderful. Now I might just be playing it up since I'm coming from South Carolina and don't know any better, but great flavor that reminded me of my Grandmother's cooking. Very quite evening with good food during our difficult time. This is when our night got very special and somber. When we got our bill, we noticed that our total was... off. It wasn't enough. Before we could discuss it, my dad paid for it. When our waitress, Sabrina, came back with change, I had my dad ask her about the bill... Sabrina had paid for our drinks for the night, and she didn't want to tell us because she wanted it to do something "small" to be a gift to help put us at ease during our time of grief... The first time I actually cried all day. Having a complete stranger do a simple act of kindness... there aren't enough words to say.

So, whether your passing thru, or a local. Stop in, enjoy a great meal with wonderful staff, and give a thank you from us.

My partner and I came here for dinner around 7pm. They do not accept CC but do have an ATM in the lobby. The waitress did not introduce herself so I was not able to get her name. Throughout the meal, the waitress seemed very rushed to get us out. The meal was alright. The complementary bread was not warm and seemed to be the Italian loaf that you get at the grocery store. We got onion rights as an appetizer. They were alright, once again seemed like the ones you would get at the grocery store. The hamburgers and cheeseburgers do not come with the basic fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion). I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and onion. The burger was supposed to be med rare but arrived well done. My partner ordered the chicken Parm and spaghetti. They said it tasted good but the chicken Parm seemed to be small tenders instead of a whole breast piece. Overall the food and service were subpar. If you have no other options this is a fine choice otherwise I would...

Food not anywhere near description. I ordered lasagna and it was noodles with a grayish meat/sausage type smashed substance between some type of noodle, covered heavily with a pasta sauce so as it didn't even resemble lasagna and when asked for it to be taken back the owner initially said NO. I asked for it to be taken off the bill and he (the owner) sent out a dish that my friend had ordered in it's place. (stuffed shells) Stupidly I accepted it even though I wanted a different selection as the waitress came back saying the cook had already put on the same dish as my friend was having as a substitute. (no time for me to reselect apparently) I felt bad for the waitress. I would never go back. This was the 3rd time going there and each time another issue of some sort.
