Title: Delicious Chicken, But Service Could Be Improved: My Experience at Popeyes
I recently visited Popeyes Chicken for a meal, drawn in by their reputation for flavorful and satisfying chicken. While the food itself has always been consistently delicious, my overall experience has been somewhat mixed due to issues with accuracy of orders and lengthy wait times.
There's no denying the irresistible taste of Popeyes chicken – crispy, flavorful, and always satisfying. Whether it's their classic fried chicken or their mouthwatering chicken tenders, every bite is packed with flavor and quality. The sides, from the buttery biscuits to the Cajun fries, never disappoint and complement the main dishes perfectly.
However, despite the delicious food, I've encountered some frustrations with the service. On multiple occasions, my orders have had mistakes, ranging from missing items to receiving the wrong order altogether. Additionally, even during off-peak hours when the restaurant isn't busy, the wait time to receive food can be surprisingly long. This has been disappointing, especially when I'm looking forward to enjoying my meal without unnecessary delays.
Despite these issues, I must acknowledge the efforts of the staff in maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The employees have always been courteous and apologetic when errors occur, which helps mitigate some of the frustration.
In conclusion, Popeyes Chicken undeniably serves up some of the most delicious chicken around. However, improvements in order accuracy and reducing wait times would greatly enhance the overall dining experience. If you're willing to overlook these challenges for the sake of mouthwatering chicken, Popeyes is still worth a visit. Just be prepared to exercise patience and double-check your order...
Read moreI had a very disheartening experience when I tried to get 3 3-piece chicken meals and 3 popcorn shrimps boxes. I checked my bag at home and realized I only had 1 of the meals. I began to call the restaurant to get this sorted out only to get sent to an answering machine that is not even set up. I had to call 9 times before I finally got ahold of someone. I informed the manager that I what my order was and that I was missing 2 of my meals. Her response with a dismissive tone " you only ordered 1 meal". I told her that that was not the case and my receipt says I had three. So she asks what I want to do about it. I tell her I am on my way to collect the rest of the food I am missing. She says ok and I'll take care of you when you get here. Upon arriving to collect my meal I am handed a box of six pieces of chicken and nothing else. So I mention my meals came with 2 sides of mashed potatoes and gravy. She informs me they don't have any ( at 8:37 at night??). I ask what other sides she has and miraculously she comes up with the mashed potatoes. And at this point I am so frustrated with this managers attitude and incompetence that I'm not even going to fight for the biscuits paid for. I mean seriously I was in no way compensated for having to drive the 20 minute drive to correct the mistake they made.I am so frustrated that I will probably never come back to this restaurant again, I would rather drive all the way to Syracuse instead. Atleast I kow I will get my whole...
Read moreAs a previous restaurant owner I really dislike giving bad reviews, however in this case my review is warranted.
I pull up to the Oneida Popeyes drive-thru around 5pm. There were no vehicles in front of us or behind us, but we were asked to hold for several minutes. When the young lady finally spoke I mentioned to her twice that I was not familiar with the menu. No reply from her.
I asked for an 8 PC chicken dinner asking what sides came with it since they were not clearly marked on their changing menu board and she got irritated with me. I then asked what sizes the chicken tenders came and the types of sauces and once again the young lady was irate with me. There was no clear price on the menu board for the chicken tenders by themselves. I found this tactic to be very dishonest.
After I finished my order of an 8 PC chicken dinner and 9 tenders another lady made me wait several more minutes talking to her co worker, before opening the window to take my credit card. Mind you no one was behind us waiting to order. When she told me the total for the order I almost sh#$ myself!!!
$65 Dollars for an 8- PC and tenders! The food was cold and definitely not worth the price or attitude from the staff.
Imagine paying $3.00 a piece for pressed chicken meat covered with way too much breading. My family and I will never eat at a Popeye's again, hope they enjoyed that $65 because it'll NEVER...
