Movieplex Cinema — Local services in City of Oneida

Ticket counter is no longer used so you have to wait in food line for tickets, which can be inconvenient if you're running late. Workers were polite though service seemed a little slow (tho maybe my expectations were too high - and my group was also really unprepared for the ordering process which probably didn't help). In the theater in which we saw our movie, only half of it had the comfy recliner seats. The other half of the seats were okay, but not anything great, either. It didn't help my back/leg pain at all. (I should note that we didn't have the option to pick seats when we got our tickets.) Prices were as you'd probably expect from any movie theater. However, because of the location, snacks and drinks might have been the slightest bit cheaper than in a more urban or busier area. Great low prices! I like sitting in the back, but if you get stuck sitting up front in a full theater (Or One Of The Smaller Theaters), all the upfront seats are super comfy recliner chairs. So even in my worse case scenario for seating, you still get a bit of a win out of it.

Although I will say they don't always do many of the movie promotions which can be disappointing, but not a deal breaker (For Example They Didn't Give Out The Promo Pikachu Card When Detective Pikachu).

Also concession prices would break the bank of even Warren Buffett, but that is a problem with every movie theater. I would say Onidea Movieplex Cinema is one of if not the best movie theaters in all of...

My son and his wife were home on leave. The family went to see a movie. Was all family in theatre except 2 young men who said it was ok if the kids make noise. The little one made noise and a lady came in and said I am the general manager and you need to leave as it’s against policy him crying or making noise. Beyond rude I could understand if the theatre was full but it wasn’t besides family and the nice young men who were perfectly fine with the kids enjoying the kid movie and making noise.
