Good Thymes — Restaurant in City of Plattsburgh

I had an unfortunate experience at this establishment recently. While outside the bar minding my own business, an individual named Barry, who does not appear to work there, interrupted my conversation. His wife, Megan, then accused me of speaking negatively about the business without providing any explanation or attempting to have a constructive discussion.

I’m unsure if Megan is an employee, but regardless, customers should be treated with professionalism. If there are personal grievances, they should be addressed privately and respectfully, ideally by the owner, not by others associated with the business.

What’s disappointing is that I’ve recommended this establishment to others, including people waiting in the Skyway Plaza. It’s unfortunate that this level of drama overshadowed the sense of community and professionalism I expect from a business. Since I was made to feel unwelcome, I’ll be encouraging others to support establishments that foster a more positive and respectful environment for their patrons.

My cousin's husband's benefit was held here. They were very good to my cousin and helped in any way they could. They let us take over the whole billiards/music room of the bar for the benefit. The bartenders were very busy but, made sure to help serve the spaghetti dinners offered at the benefit. I've only been there one other time and that was for a different family-related event. No complaints either time. The chicken wings are good...

Picked up a drunk friend and brought his beer glass back inside for him. Unfortunately, that is my only interaction there tonight. I will say, it was very nice and clean inside, that is always a plus. If I drank I would definitely go there for one!! Haha, until then I will just continue to visit while I am picking up...
