I had an unfortunate experience at this establishment recently. While outside the bar minding my own business, an individual named Barry, who does not appear to work there, interrupted my conversation. His wife, Megan, then accused me of speaking negatively about the business without providing any explanation or attempting to have a constructive discussion.
I’m unsure if Megan is an employee, but regardless, customers should be treated with professionalism. If there are personal grievances, they should be addressed privately and respectfully, ideally by the owner, not by others associated with the business.
What’s disappointing is that I’ve recommended this establishment to others, including people waiting in the Skyway Plaza. It’s unfortunate that this level of drama overshadowed the sense of community and professionalism I expect from a business. Since I was made to feel unwelcome, I’ll be encouraging others to support establishments that foster a more positive and respectful environment for their patrons.
