So, I have eaten here before yesterday and was at a loss for words. I had never looked at my receipt before and have always left a good tip. Yesterday we noticed they already include your tip in the bill and it seems ypu don't have a choice in the matter. On top of this we had left a tip on the table and they charged $2.00 because we paid with a card instead of cash. So, on a $40'ish bill he got a nearly 50% tip. Although the food is decent, not great, they force you to pay a tip of their choosing. And to charge a fee for using a card is ridiculous these days. More people carry cards over cash. And if I paid cash, you still have your monthly bank fees to be able to offer this service to your customers. It's part of your overhead. What we do with our business is give a cash discount, vs upcharging and passing my expense to specific customers. Yes, I have a card processor and know what the fees are. My purchase would have cost them approximately 50 cents, tops. So, if you want decent food for the area, take cash and do not tip them, unless they somehow were exceptionally great (not my experience, but we aren't spanish speakers and we definitely saw the difference in customer service) as they already...
Read moreNice people, clean spacious dining area, limited menu. The prices are average. I didn’t have the best experience and that’s why 2 stars it may have been the fault of the waiter and not the chef. There are no soups on their menu but they had specials which the waiter verbalized clearly. I asked if they had any soup today he said, yes, chicken. He asked me if I wanted rice and beans with the soup. I said no. He brought out chicken guisado and that’s how it was described on the bill too. Unfortunately I’m not happy it clearly wasn’t soup. The empanadas I had were fine as well as the lemonade. I hope the owners can read this, so they don’t have mislead consumers in the future. My Spanish fluent enough that I’m certain he understood my request in Spanish...

Auto charge of tips?! Disgusting experience, ...
