FULL DISCLOSURE: I have not yet visited this establishment (and it now looks like I never will!). My wife and I are excited to visit Rochester in early August with our granddaughter. Being the structure freak that I am, while planning out dining spots, I came upon this bakery and thought it would be a fun place to visit and to load up our hotel room with wonderful treats. As I was reading the reviews, how turned off did I feel when I read the message response from the proprietor telling the customer to, "Go back to Europe" when the customer criticized the quantity of chocolate in one of their product. How rude! As a capitalist myself, I know better than to make snide responses like that to ANYONE! NOW, I may THINK these comments, but I have enough common sense not to VERBALIZE them. The atmosphere was almost farm like lots of natural feels too it. The kitchen was tucked in the back and your food would be set on the window sill when ready if ordered to-go. The service was timely and everyone was very pleasant. Lastly, the food was top notch. The bacon egg and cheese on a bagel is one of my top 5. They have all sorts of pastries and the chocolate croissant I purchase before leaving was quite yummy. I would definitely...
