I ordered the onion soup and crazy Friday roll. The onion soup had a delious beef base, the taste was a perfect blend of oinion, beef with hints of other flavors. No lasting negative aftertaste. Truly enjoyable like the heat from a warm fire. They also gave me a complimentary 2 pieces of sashimi which had a delicious spicy mayo sauce while I was waiting for my Crazy Friday roll. It had great flavor, my only regret was not savoring it for longer or using more of the delicious sauce, but I also wanted to taste the sashimi for itself, which, I can confidently say the sauce was there to enhance, not make up for any lacking flavors. The crazy friday roll has several good flavors working for it that compliment each other well. The taste of the protein sticks out above the rest as expected, with hints of mango and cream cheese to lift it further and help it settle on the taste buds. No strong after taste, it settles pleasantly, though I recommend getting something to drink with it that compliments it. Overall I'm very happy with my experience and will be coming back. It was exactly what I expected for atmosphere and service and the food rose above my expectations

The decor in this Japanese sushi restaurant was lovely. The place was clean, modern, and very inviting. Unfortunately, the experience we had was very disappointing overall. We ordered two different rolls, a shrimp tempura roll and a spicy tuna roll, but for some reason they were placed together in the same container. My daughter has a shellfish allergy, so she couldn’t eat her tuna roll because it was touching the shrimp. I honestly can’t understand why they would combine two separate rolls in one box. To save a dime? 🤷🏻‍♀️ we didn’t feel the need to tell them about the allergy because we ordered two separate rolls and fully expected them to be separately packaged. I did taste the spicy tuna roll myself, and it wasn’t very good… the flavor was off and the texture was not fresh. On the bright side, the shrimp tempura roll was delicious, which is the only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1. A little more care in packaging and food safety would go a long way here.

Not a good first experience. There last night, they messed up our orders and gave us the wrong roll. Plus the spicy roll was not spicy at all. After eating half of a roll, I found out it had spoiled and soggy avocado and the seaweed was very tough and hard to chew. Woke up the next day very sick. Don't eat improper made sushi. As someone who makes sushi a lot and has been making it for years. This place sucked. I know a lot of people say it's good here but I think a really bad first time here won't be bringing me or my friend back.

Will not be a return customer. These were take-out orders-

3 Chicken and steak Hibachi dinners- The chicken was ridiculously tough and looked/tasted like it had been parboiled, it was not in any way hibachi chicken. The steak was TOUGH. Lack of flavor. Veggies in the dish were not cooked through. The fried rice was gross and sticky. no flavor. Looked as if it was just some microwave-reheated white rice with veggies and some tasteless sauce added for color. The salad was ok, just iceberg lettuce. The ginger dressing was good. The onion soup was lacking onions with a ton of mushrooms. Yaki soba- had no flavor Chicken Yakitori- GIANT (par-boiled) chunks of chicken on a skewer, raw green peppers in-between the massive chunks. Sauce didn't even stick to the chicken. It should be a thicker / sticky sauce. Not runny.

No color or searing to any of the meats to claim it was cooked in a wok or a flat top griddle. The food was honestly just disgusting.

I had heard good things about the establishment. Unfortunately, it just was not...
