I saw them bringing it back up on the screen I was watching and reading everything.up on the screen !! both know I’m still standing there and they’ve proceeded to. Read moreI ordered a couple of pizzas from here because the Domino's near me had closed for the day, and after arriving back home I realized that one of them was made incorrectly. I called them immediately and informed them of the situation and the manager took down my address and told me that she would remake it and deliver it for free since it was their mistake. I was very grateful for the courtesy. However after about 45 minutes, I received a call stating that they would not deliver to my address because it was outside of their delivery range and that I had to come and pick it up. I explained to them that I was informed by the manager that she said she was going to personally deliver it to me, and that if they were not going to deliver to my address that they should have said something when I first called rather than making me wait almost an hour for a pizza that was never coming. I was offered a refund, but the person I spoke to on the phone was fairly unprofessional and I did not appreciate being spoken down to. I think that since the store made an error, they should have made reasonable accommodations and delivered it to me anyway. I don't live that far away so I feel like they should have made the exception since they already told me that they would. I ended up driving back down there anyway and the manager gave me a refund as well as a new pizza, so I was grateful that she was willing to attempt to rectify their error. Read moreI ordered from Domino’s through Uber Eats. Domino’s called me to inform me they were out of the two sodas I ordered. The man said he would put his manager on the line to explain the next steps. The manager then told me he needed to cancel my Uber Eats order and re-key it without the drinks, taking my card details. However, I lost service during the call and could not reconnect with the store due to an answering service.
I contacted Uber Eats support, and my order still showed as active. Later, my phone indicated the food was delivered. Despite leaving specific delivery instructions that were easy to follow, I couldn’t find my food. Uber Eats refunded me because they also couldn’t contact the Domino’s location.
This whole ordeal made me late for work. An hour and a half later, my neighbor told me the pizza was left at his door upstairs, which was not in my delivery instructions. It was 94 degrees outside, and the food had been sitting there, rendering it inedible. Even my neighbor tried to contact Domino’s to inform them of the mistake but couldn’t reach the store.
I was not notified about the delivery, and a simple voicemail could have avoided this issue. Customer service is crucial, and this experience was utterly unacceptable. As someone who works in customer service, I understand that mistakes happen, but proper communication could have resolved this. I expect someone higher up at Domino’s to contact me to address...
