I had an absolutely amazing lunch here! I ordered the Empanadas de Picadillo y Queso, Pollo Guisado con Mamposteao, and Tembleque—and every single dish was outstanding.

The empanadas were perfection: the dough was light, fried to a bubbly, crispy finish, and the filling struck the perfect balance between savory ground beef and melted cheese. The chicken was unbelievably tender—fall-apart moist, with a hint of crispness on the skin that made me so happy. The rice and beans were flavorful and perfectly moist, and I highly recommend trying their house-made habanero mango sauce. The heat was just right—enough kick to feel it, but balanced so the vibrant flavor of the mango and habanero really shined through.

For dessert, the coconut pudding (Tembleque) was silky, delicately sweet, and the perfect ending to the meal.

The ambience has a cool urban vibe that gives off a true NYC feel, and the staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
