OIP-Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

Got 2 slices of Chicken Bacon Ranch — they were decent slices, crust was on point, sauce was not overbearing, price was quite high.

Atmosphere mostly good, it could feel a little more cozy, and on paper maybe it should, I didn't pinpoint exactly what was off. Something about the setup felt a bit stilted or cold, but I can definitely see families with lots of children eating here.

Service was okay.

Menu: I didn't have time to check the whole in-store menu, but the online menu describes char grilled buffalo wings, which unless I was unable to see an "or" due to image resolution, brings me to question the relevant experience with buffalo wings (which are by-definition deep fried). I've gotten their pizza, wings and stromboli's numerous time and they are always great. I was really craving pizza tonight but tonight was a complete disappointment. I don't know if there was a different cook tonight but the pizza was dry and very salty. I usually get grilled Buffalo wings that are some of my favorites around here - tonight we got the hot boneless wings and they were awful. The heavy oil-laden, over m-cooked breading was almost as thick as the chicken - even picking the breading off it was way too salty to eat. I had one slice of pizza and one wing and was done. The young lady gave our order to another customer accidentally, realized it after doing so, and proceeded to give us the other person's order. They're initial response was to throw cold toppings on the pizza, but they did finally make us a new, pizza. We decided to have the wings while we waited for the pie, and then realized they were different as well. They tried twice to make us new wings but despite my best efforts to explain they were supposed to be hot chargrilled we got the spicy ranch that the other customer ordered.
