I strongly recommend against coming here. I would give zero stars if I could, but the lowest you can give is 1 star. 1. We tried calling the restaurant several times; they do not answer. Their website says you can add yourself to the waitlist, but you really can’t after a certain time (which interestingly is not mentioned on their site). We got a text message saying that we could not be added to the waitlist and to call the phone number “for more information”. The phone number that you don’t answer? I’m good 🙂. 2. I messaged the business on Facebook since they didn’t answer the phone and was told “hello you can just come in.” So…We drove out even though it is a bit of a drive for us since it was confirmed that we could come in. 3. We arrive there and the “host” there could really use some basic customer service skills. He could benefit from that. It was 2:30 p on a Saturday and he said “we’re not serving at this time.” No? Closes at 5:00 and “not serving” at 2:30pm. The “manager” who came out, responded the opposite of what I think a manager is supposed to. At some point she decided to tell me how far away she lives. Relevance? Not sure it is a competition to tell customers how far of a drive you have compared to theirs. I’m not particularly interested. This place lacks professionalism all around. The manager said the owner said when they messaged me that I could “try” to come in. The Facebook message (attached here) proves otherwise. When shown to the “manager”, she expressed no genuine apology for the inconvenience. 4. As I was waiting there, I noticed the place is filthy. Take a look around at the floor. Doesn’t look like swept it...

I visited the Westcott Rise and Shine for the first time today and left disappointed with the experience. Things started off fine: we were given an estimated wait time of 30 minutes for a table and were seated after about 35 minutes. However, once we were seated the service declined. We placed our food and drink orders and after about 10 minutes our waitress returned to our table to advise us they had run out of crepe batter and I would have to change my order. She was apologetic and I understand these things happen so I ordered French toast instead. After about another 10 minutes, I finally received the latte I ordered. The espresso was delicious but I have a feeling it sat a while before it was brought to the table as it was not as hot as I would have liked. While we waited for our food, I was again disappointed that our waitress did not stop by the table to see if we needed anything and I instead had to flag her down to refill an empty glass of water. When our food finally came out an hour and seven minutes after we sat down at the table, my French toast was lukewarm and my boyfriend’s omelette fell apart. Our waitress did offer to comp a beverage from the bar due to the delay, a gesture I appreciated but did not accept as I was ready to eat and leave by that point. Overall, the experience was frustrating and in my opinion, not worth the wait or hype other reviewers seem to give the diner. If you do plan on eating here, I suggest clearing a few hours...

Me and my mother went there for lunch. We got there at around 1:30pm and were able to sit at a table as soon as we came into the restaurant.Dom the waitress that waited on us was very nice and friendly. She didn’t rush us to order and she explained to my mother what was in a Vegan Scramble. My mother ended up ordering the Vegan Scramble and I ordered the Rise & Shine Burger. She brought us both water filled glasses and we ordered coffee to drink. The place was really busy but all the employees were working as a team to get stuff done.we did not have to wait long at all for our food to come to the table. My mom was impressed with her Vegan Scramble and it looked fabulous on her plate. She never ate a Vegan Scramble before and she definitely enjoyed it because she ate everything on her plate. My Rise & Shine Burger was cooked to perfection and the home fries were delicious. Dom kept checking on us to see if we needed anything and kept us supplied with coffee in our cups. She definitely enjoys her work and is a efficient employee on keeping her guests happy during there time at the restaurant.Me and my mom left full and it was a perfect meal because everything was fabulous.Dom definitely was attentive and she definitely interacted with us to make us happy the whole time we were there.Definitely worth the visit and I would recommend people to come on in and try Rise & Shine out. You won’t be disappointed.Me and my mom will...
