A new take-out deli recently opened near the corner of Valley Drive and Seneca Turnpike in the building previously occupied for many years by Luigi's Italian Restaurant. The menu is extensive with a wide variety of items from subs to shrimp po boys, to quesadillas, to pizza and wings. I ordered a 12-in Italian sub which comes with beef salami, turkey ham, provolone, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, oil and vinegar, and grated parmesan. It was not only a generous amount of food, but it was also very tasty. Next time, I might ask if they could add banana peppers, pepperoncini, or even cherry peppers for a little heat. Alternatively, I might ask if the tomatoes could be replaced by roasted red pepper. The interior of the building has been completely remodeled and is bright and stylish. The staff are friendly, helpful and patient. Because of the length of the menu, I'd suggest you stand aside from the order line when you first enter in order to peruse the overhead illuminated menu so you can make an informed decision on what to order.

Whoever is working the front desk, had his back turned to the counter when I walked up, stood there for about 7 minutes before he decided to turn around and ignore me. Tells the other two kids who are sitting by the door that their food is ready. Without looking at me mumbled something under his breath, which happened to be “it’ll be a few more minutes”. Edit: you were standing with you back turned for longer than 1 minute sorry sir. And I take pictures of all establishments for Google reviews that I haven’t been to before. You marked the item as “ready for pickup” which I have a screenshot of, while I was still sitting there waiting. It wasn’t until another 6 minute after it was marked ready that you brought the food out. I worked at a car dealership for years and if our boss ever caught us standing at the front with our backs turned to the customers….

Take out deli/pizza shop in the old Luigi's restaurant is definitely worth the stop if you're looking for good quality sandwiches. We heard good things about their steak subs, but decided to try a couple of Parmesans, just to be contrary. They were delicious. I had the eggplant Parm, which can be tricky, but it was nicely breaded and tender, sauce was perfect complement. Pictured are 8 inch subs (eggplant and chicken). No tables, but comfortable bench to sit and wait for order. Handicap accessible. Service is exceptional.

Stepping into The Deli on the Valley is like stepping into grandma's house... because there is no doubt you'll be feasting properly. It's the kind of spot that makes you stop and think, "Wow, I should be eating here." More likely than not you will be asking yourself why you haven't eaten here sooner. Before you know it, you will become a regular! Inside, the decor is equally impressive as the outside—think trendy yet cozy, with just the right amount of modern charm. I always saw myself as a picky gal when it came to food AND music... Let me just say, I was pleasantly surprised when I learned the guy in the glasses, working in the front, was controlling the music. The music selection is IMPECCABLE and really pulls everything together. They really know how to set a vibe! The mozzarella sticks are a revelation. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside—these golden delights could convert even the most devout mozzarella stick skeptic. And then there's the eggplant parm sub. It’s nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The eggplant is perfectly cooked, the sauce is divine, HUGE portion, and the whole thing is generously cheesy. It’s like a hug in sub form. Instead of a new year's resolution, I have taken it upon myself to make an end of year's resolution, which is to try everything on the humongous menu. Maybe this time around I will finish memorizing the menu!... The staff are attentive and friendly, making you feel like you're part of the family. They're quick to treat you like a best friend and ensure your food experience is top-notch. Overall: Deli on The Valley isn’t just a place to eat; it's an experience. Between the stunning decor, the drool-worthy food, and the undeniably dashing owner, you’re in for a treat. HIGGGHHLY recommend checking it out—just be prepared to make this your new...

If you’re looking for a spot that serves mouthwatering hot steak subs and perfectly crispy chicken tenders, The Deli on Valley is the place to go. This hidden gem delivers big on flavor, quality, and service.

The hot steak subs are easily some of the best around—packed with tender, juicy steak, melted cheese, and just the right amount of seasoning. Every bite is rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The bread is fresh, with a perfect balance of softness and crunch, holding everything together beautifully.

The chicken tenders are another standout. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and fried to perfection, they’re a must-try whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Pair them with one of their dipping sauces, and you’ve got a meal that hits the spot every time.

Beyond the food, the service at The Deli on Valley is friendly and efficient. The staff makes you feel welcome, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it a great place for pickup of a great meal.

Overall, The Deli on Valley delivers on all fronts—delicious food, great service, and a cozy, no-fuss vibe. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is well...
