A new take-out deli recently opened near the corner of Valley Drive and Seneca Turnpike in the building previously occupied for many years by Luigi's Italian Restaurant. The menu is extensive with a wide variety of items from subs to shrimp po boys, to quesadillas, to pizza and wings. I ordered a 12-in Italian sub which comes with beef salami, turkey ham, provolone, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, oil and vinegar, and grated parmesan. It was not only a generous amount of food, but it was also very tasty. Next time, I might ask if they could add banana peppers, pepperoncini, or even cherry peppers for a little heat. Alternatively, I might ask if the tomatoes could be replaced by roasted red pepper. The interior of the building has been completely remodeled and is bright and stylish. The staff are friendly, helpful and patient.
