Pleasantly surprised by this venue! I attended a concert here and wasn't really sure what to expect considering the number of reviews indicating that it needs updating or maintenance. Sometimes that's a code for "junky" but not in this case. This is a vintage theatre! I can only imagine the kind of work that goes into maintaining a place like this and deciding what to repair, what to replace, and so on among the doubtless endless string of things going wrong.
The owners have done a great job refreshing it, keeping it comfortable and clean, and installing some modern amenities that make it a joy. It's easy to get booze, easy to get around to the bathrooms, easy to sit, and the acoustics are really good for a stage show.

Read moreParking , not so easy unless you know the area and know that there is parking across the street behind a building, Also waiting to go in our in the freezing cold is a bit much with a crowd of people, My 87 yr old mother would not of been able to do that, she should of been able to go as well..Love the old building style..however you need to move the concession stand. People coming in and people waiting at Concession were blended in with each other..Could not tell who was walking or waiting where. Way too packed for only one person waiting on concession ..Also your Prop for pictures needs to be moved. The only thing I liked was the Popcorn, It was the best .Our dance group will not be having their performance here again and I'm...
Read moreWe had a dance party event for our lower school families at the Palace on a Sunday afternoon. It was a great experience from our initial visit to the day of our event. Kim was easy to work with in planning the event, and Adam, who worked the sounds and lights was incredibly accommodating and patient as we had to change our original plan as we went. The ladies working concessions were wonderful as well. The price was very reasonable for all that it included, and everyone had a fun time. I cannot say enough good things about our experience, and will book again...
