They started with cheese and built a whole vibe. Now, round two? They’ve taken that same obsession with flavor and turned it into a full-blown experience.

The Peppery Fennel Chicken was nothing short of a revelation.

Perfectly crisped and tender, the black pepper and Calabrian chili crust delivered a bold, aromatic heat that blended seamlessly with the subtle sweetness of fennel. The half roast chicken, succulent and flavorful to the bone, sat atop a warm escarole salad- bitter greens balanced by the creamy, briny bite of ricotta salata and the earthy crunch of crispy fava beans. Each forkful was a masterclass in texture and contrast, elevated further by the rich, smoky depth of the romesco sauce beneath it all.

The ambiance was intimate yet energetic. A warm hum of conversation underscored by ambient lighting that felt both sophisticated and inviting. Every detail was a quiet testament to intention.

The service? Impeccable. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without pretension. Our bartenders (and maitre’d) guided us through the menu like seasoned storytellers.

And then there was the cocktail program. A thoughtful, well-executed collection of both the classic and the unexpected. Each drink was balanced and artful, showcasing not just technique but personality. But the real unsung hero of the bar: their vermouth selection. A true gem for aperitif lovers, with a range spanning dry, sweet, herbal, and citrus-forward profiles. It’s clear this team takes their spirits seriously.

In a city yearning for better options, this place stands out by doing everything with care, craft, and character. The Peppery Fennel Chicken might just be the best $28 you’ll...

This place is a hidden gem in Syracuse. Tucked away in Eastwood, I’m so glad we found this local spot.

Serving up a charming, cozy atmosphere with so much character alongside their crafted artisan meals, I wish I could give this place 10 stars!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and were greeted by such warm workers and staff. The cocktails were excellent. I got the “Deep Roots” with rhubarb sweet vermouth and my gosh it was incredible. The front of house manager gave us champagne on the house for our celebration and it was such a thoughtful touch.

I’ve heard some (if not all) the plates, glasses, art, chairs, and tables were locally thrifted which is charming on its own. Even though it’s mismatched, it somehow all goes together in a really beautiful way and made the atmosphere that much more fun to be in. There was so much to look at!

Our app was the local cheese board with local meats and we were blown away with the flavor bombs. And then my main course was the Truffle Caramelle, my husband got the Mac and cheese - both were excellent and unique. And we polished it off with their chocolate creme brûlée and Oh. My. Gosh. This was the best part of the night. Not sure if it’s because I have a sweet tooth or what, but this dish blew my husband and I away. The best crème brûlée we’ve ever had!

The food was incredible, so flavorful and complex. But still provided a feeling of warmth and comfort, really a true new gem in the Eastwood area

The servers and host were all very kind and friendly as we were greeted and taken care of, our server was highly knowledgeable about the menu and made some fantastic recommendations, even the chef stepped out of the kitchen to talk to tables, love to see it!

Everything in the restaurant from the glassware to the bar top is second hand and recycled! It's adoring, beautiful, and eccentric. It creates a certain cozy at home feeling while still maintaining the flavor and atmosphere of an upscale restaurant

We got the burrata toast appetizer and the Caramelle main dish (it's the house made cheese stuffed pasta that changes daily, the name will too I imagine) it was Heavenly, a lovely green sauce with sautéed spinach and red onions topped with sprouts

For our drinks, the rhubarb NA beer mocktail was delightful! My friend got a cocktail with Apricot and Vodka and she said it was also delightful

10/10 highly recommend and can't wait to go back to try...

WOW, is all i have to say. been a big fan of the curd nerd for a while, when i heard they were opening i restaurant i had to try it out. you can see the passion and the heart put into this place. the adorable missed matched plates/cups that are very cohesive to the atmosphere here. obsessed with the amazing and cute artwork on the walls, that i was told was either handmade, donated or i believe thrifted 🐭🧀 there’s no shortage of warm/welcoming energies here either. this experience was my birthday dinner with some of my fave people, we all had such a great evening. aislinn was lovely and vvvv good to us! sarah the owner came by to wish me happy birthday 🥹 the espresso martini was so good, hats off to the bartender 🍸 i had the basil pistachio pesto cavatelli with tomatoes, topped with burrata….. lemme tell ya absolutely divine.. all i have to say is YAS CHEF. this place is truly top notch. highly recommend if you love cute things, incredible food, all around good vibes and must love cheese.. duh. thx for making my bday feel special! luv you the wedge 🫶🏻
