Chadwicks Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

So I actually enjoy going to chadwicks because the food is amazing and the drinks are really good but the customer service is a hit or miss, there has been occasions where I went in and rather the bar has just a few people or has several people I have had a long wait time it's either I'm not acknowledged at all even when they aren't busy servicing others or there are orders that are being taken before mine for people who have came in after me but I still insisted on going because I enjoy the drinks, the food and the people from the kitchen are very personable and very friendly but tonight I have decided this will be my last time coming in for a drink I sat at the bar and the bartender told the woman next to me that she would be right with her when she was already serviced and had a drink in front of her that she had just finished and I have been waiting she did not acknowledge me and she walked away, about 10 minutes later she came back and asked me what I wanted and I put in my order but she then proceeded to come from behind the bar and take a group picture for other customers which is fine but I feel she should have politely asked them to give her just a second so she can make my drink and then she will be right with them I still chose to be patient and wait but when she returned to the bar she asked someone else what it was they wanted and begin to make their drink, so I got her attention and told her nevermind and left I would love to believe that she forgot about me if it wasn't for the eye contact she made with my significant other when returning to the bar. I will not be back for drinks but definitely will come in to pick up some food and leave.

I came in after an event with a large group the evening of Saturday 6/7. We came in at 10:45 and were greeted by an unwelcoming bar staff of 2. We were shortly thereafter informed that last call was going to be on 5 minutes. I did check before making this review and do see that the hours posted state they are open until midnight.

The bar staff was very impolite the whole time. I'm giving 2 stars for the fact that they were probably understaffed, tired, and probably not expecting us so I am giving a bit of a break here.

Two gentleman in our group were disgruntled and more vocal about the early closing time, and for that I feel badly. (most of our party did leave willingly without any trouble) However without getting into too much detail about the events that transpired after the male bartender decided to kick everyone out (prior to posted closing time) I will say both sides were extremely out of line. I do suspect had we not been treated as a group like garbage from the second we walked in during normal business hours perhaps the incident I'm referring to wouldn't have occurred.

Went to this place for the first time this past weekend and I’ll definitely be back! The women bartending was very attentive, and pleasant! Glasses, bar, and the entire place was clean—and the atmosphere was comfortable. Now to the best part of this place…THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! I met some friends here around 8-9 Saturday and was starving. I ordered a cheeseburger, dirty rice and baked Mac and cheese. All of these where amazing!! The food was good quality, serving sizes were more than enough (had some to take home), and everything I got tasted amazing!! So happy I found this place! I will definitely be ordering here when I need to pick up dinner for my family….and I suggest everyone else stop...
