Instant Classic! Went there for a quick bite to eat, ended up staying for 2 hours for the food and the atmosphere. You can feel this place is different than any other in Utica the moment you walk in the door. With a party feel and comfortable furniture it was fun just hanging out. And then the food. I ate the best prime rib sandwich I have had in years. The meat was cooked medium rare and so tender, the bread was crispy and buttery, topped with a long hot pepper grilled to perfection. I visited the bar on a Saturday with high expectations, but it was disappointingly empty, giving off an eerie vibe like we were the only patrons. The bartender, apparently on her second day, seemed utterly clueless. When we requested a drink menu, she appeared lost, unaware of any specialties. Later, when we asked for a cocktail featured on their website, she was equally clueless about its ingredients or preparation. With no support staff, the experience felt disrespectful and unwelcoming.
