The Beer Hub — Local services in City of Utica

Went to grab a bite to eat, was not greeted appropriately at the door. Then invasively approached my infant daughter. Will never go back. Terrible customer service and atmosphere. Would give zero stars but google wouldn’t let me.

In regards to the businesses reply, I was never greeted appropriately at the door, merely stared at. Great customer service right?! This grandmother figure inappropriately came up to my infant daughter, while sitting down waiting for someone to speak to us about eating. I was fine not having a high chair, but after the interaction with this so called grandmother I was uncomfortable and left. To reply to my review in a unprofessional way, don’t worry I will enjoy my next meal, but definitely not at this location!!

Hopefully my honest review will help people choose the correct location to eat/drink, definitely not the Beer Hub!

The main tap room is comfortable and inviting with about 10 or so seats at the bar, a couple tables, and a retail area for a small but quality selection of bottles and cans. They have a few average beers for those that aren't super into the craft beer scene as well as a great rotating selection of craft taps. The food menu is very small, usually soft pretzels and flatbread pizzas, but they are decent bar food offerings. There is a back room but I've honestly never made it back there since I prefer sitting at the bar. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming while still having a very local vibe. The bartender was nice and attentive and the other regulars were happy to make conversation. I highly recommend for a great place to grab a couple awesome...

A cozy bar with bottles for carry out, good place for a conversation, 20-something beers on tap, but less of the wild stuff you see at the Onion, Collin is a fantastic beer nerd, they have some rare finds that if you’re looking for something different.
