My experience at SECON was nothing short of exceptional.
The dedication and support from the instructors made all the difference in my journey. They consistently went above and beyond—not just teaching the curriculum, but truly investing in my success. The small class sizes created a focused and supportive learning environment where I never felt like just another student.
What stood out most was the one-on-one time I was able to have with instructors. Whether I needed extra help with course material or guidance navigating both academics and military commitments, they were always available, approachable, and genuinely eager to help.
SECON’s flexibility was also a game-changer. Balancing nursing school with the demands of active duty service is no small task, but the program allowed me to pursue my goals without compromising either responsibility. I felt fully supported in both my academic and military roles.
SECON made it possible for me to grow as a future nurse while continuing to serve. I’m proud to have been part of a program that understands and supports the unique challenges of service members pursuing higher education.

Read moreSt. Elizabeth College of Nursing does not support its Student nurses. In my last semester of nursing school, with the final test, I failed the requirements, lacking 4/10th of a point to meet the passing expectations. With life hitting me hard in other areas, SECON was not supportive. Attempting to fight this 0.4 of a point to graduate. Then President, Varinya did not want to hear or support all of her students to reach full potential. Leading to me pursuing a nursing degree elsewhere. Years later I still receive mail as SECON alumni. I called and asked them to stop sending me mail as I did not graduate from this program. SECON ignored that request and continued to send mail to my new home address (which was not listed on any paperwork while attending SECON). I then called again asking them to stop sending alumni mail. I wouldn’t waste my time going to nursing school here and pursue your dreams at a college/university that supports all students and...
