Wendy's — Restaurant in City of Utica

On 8/17/19 me and two of my family members went to Wendy's in North Utica. I was a frequent visitor at Wendy's for the $5 Biggie bag. I actually stopped going so much because my order was always wrong.. so on this day, we go through the driveway, ask for fresh food and was asked to pull up to wait for the food to be cooked fresh.. long story short, 15 minutes later I called the store asking where the food was.. 5 minutes later our food cane out sandwiches seemed to be fresh pit the wrapper were all dirty with ketchup, mustard and not even sure what else. Fries cold nuggets cold... so of course we begin to complain about the service.. one of the employees Shauna came out to my window and begin to yell "Font ever call talking to my employees the way did, here is your sandwich and don't ever cone back" so now I'm really upset, one is here take this sandwhich, so walked off and I dropped the sandwich on the ground and proceeded to go in the store.. I asked Shauna several times to either give us fresh food or our money back.. Shauna called the food and wanted me out of the store.. Shauna told the police she was "assaulted and harrassed" once the police offer experiences Shauna's mannerism, she certainly left a nasty taste in her mouth as well.. I really could not believe this woman tried to get me arrested for wanted fresh food. So I'm not sure if it was a racial thing or if she is just that incompetent but North Utica Wendy's gets 5 thumbs down and I will be filing a complaint with their corporate office.. I will say Thank you to Carol, who eventually made our food over and provided excellent customer service but I still would never go back and please beware if you decide...

I stopped at this Wendy’s on a road trip through Utica. A long drive through line hinted that going in might be quicker. A decision that we would soon regret. We were greeted by a timid cashier who reeked of marijuana. They did have a BOGO spicy chicken sandwich deal which made the 35 minute wait that much more enticing. Staff seemed not to care that a line was forming at the register, so, we took it upon ourselves to instruct each customer to eat somewhere else. Some may call this sabotage but we knew that the drugged up staff could only handle one order at a time. One staff member left the kitchen to clean the bathroom, not the brightest move considering we drove away every paying customer who could’ve used it. FINALLY! We got our food, well actually not our food considering half of it was wrong, but we had food none the less. As an attempt to cheer us up they gave us another large fry. I would’ve rather had no fries, as they were cold and soggy. In conclusion, I would’ve rather eaten at the run down Denny's across the street, maybe there the staff would’ve been...

TLDR; Worst experience ever. Check ALL your food and make a fuss when something that cost you an arm and a leg isn't made how it should be. I recommend boycotting this location until this place sorts out it's employees.

After many times of visiting here and having my order messed up or receiving old food, my visit on 11-13-23 was the worst. After waiting 30 minutes in drive thru I finally got to the window to place my order (drive thru speaker wasn't working). The lady looked at me like I was bothering her and asked "what do you want?". I placed my order and then continued to wait for another 6 minutes. After receiving my food I drove 8 minutes home. The burger was so old, cold, and dried out. The nuggets were cold and deflated. The fries were at least warm. The part that bothers me is that us customers who were sitting in drive thru could see the employees screwing off and talking..and then I get the worst quality food I've ever experienced. I will NEVER go back and I suggest everyone else boycotts...
