My son and I were excited to enjoy some ice cream, but our experience at the establishment was quite disappointing. Upon entering, we were greeted by an older woman with an unfriendly attitude. Despite clearly stating our order, she appeared disinterested and did not handle our transaction with care. Furthermore, the lack of hygiene practices was concerning. The woman did not use gloves, sanitize, or wash her hands after handling cards and cash. This negligence was observed by several other families who arrived after us. Food was terrible. Nachos were inedible and the French fries tasted terrible. When I walked in all I could smell was old grease. Not sure when the grease was changed, but I will bet it's been months. If they're going to sell those things they need to check that things taste right and use fresh items. Didn't have ice cream, but several people came in for ice cream while I was there. Discovered Cold Rush Ice Cream Shop this week. Wide variety of both hard ice cream (Hershey's) and soft serve (over 20 different flavors). Amazing! Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere with ice cream parlor style tables. Nice to find an ice cream shop open in the winter. They also have food selections! I'll be going back...
