Aki Asian Fusion — Restaurant in City of White Plains

Brand spanking new to WP area but not to making tasty authentic Asian cuisine. From the time my mom and I entered the restaurant, we were taken care of. Simple and tasteful place setting. My mom especially loved the quality thick dinner napkin donned with a rose image. We started with a spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll. It was fresh and perfectly chilled! My Long Island Ice Tea was one of the best adult beverages I’ve ever had and my mom remarked that her house red was the perfect temperature and crisp. We decided to try oldies but goodies for our 1st visit. My General Tso’s chicken was tasty and succulent and my mom’s shrimp fried rice included good-size, cleaned and tasty shrimp as well as a NY custom, scramble egg. Throughout the meal our server (also owner-wife) ensured we had everything we needed; water, more wasabi, etc. They were authentically pleasant and so accommodating of my mom’s oversized walker. As a kind gesture, they served us a complimentary tempura Oreo dessert - so yummy!! To top it off, there is a FREE parking lot a door down and we all know how convenient that is in White Plains! I recently had dinner here and was genuinely impressed by both the exceptional quality of the food and the outstanding service. I ordered the Spicy Girl Roll, the Spicy Scallop Roll, and the Shrimp Tempura Roll—all of which were incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor. Each bite showcased the care and craftsmanship that went into the sushi, making it clear that this restaurant takes great pride in its menu.
