FOOD CITY — Local services in City of White Plains

For the idiot who thought this is the place to buy dog food when there’s Petco in Hartsdale 😂.

I go to this place for meat products it’s cheaper than HMart and they have good quality not so brolic chicken here. I usually always get the natural looking 👀 smaller boned quarter legs they don’t look brolic and injected with much antibiotics. I get the pork bellies cheaper than at shoprite, stop and shop or Hmart. The vegetables are okay I don’t buy much of their greens apple farm still has cheaper options but hmart had the most greens 🥬 veggies that I like.

I always notice that the aisles are always clean and the products are always filled up as if it never runs out. One day I was looking for liver spread and they do not have it.

There’s plenty of free parking space inside and paid meter on south Lexington if you don’t feel like parking inside and on a rush like me.

They also have hot foods serving and plated dishes. I used to buy them it’s too salty...

I am a frequent shopper there. I bought meat 2 days ago and left it in my refrigerator. I went to cook it today and the ground beef was black and the chicken was rotten I called to speak to the manager as he proceeded to say there was something wrong with my refrigerator well how could that be if my milk still smells good be careful buying meat there, meanwhile he said I was the only having a problem. The store policy is to return the same day. What a horrible policy. He gained $ 14.00 and I'm out of food. BE CAREFUL BUYING MEAT THERE I will be calling the...

BEWARE of the items that are on sale at this store/ in general. I’ve found items that were expired on the shelf that date back to 2024, just last week!! Also, they’re putting up fake sale signs which is illegal and when you mention it to the cashier and the manager they roll their eyes and fight with you so that they don’t have to honor their prices that they’re advertising in huge bold letters as a sale. I will be contacting the state about this matter because this is wrong...
