This place right here omg. When you first come in don't expect to see a decor that's going to be fabulously gorgeous because that's not what it is. And I prefer places like this because it brings that homegrown feeling back, to the time i was a child, I walked into my uncle's restaurant and it was simply a small place filled with a whole bunch of beautiful aromas of garlic, onions, sofrito, peppers and different types of spices. when we sat down at the table to eat it was just so mouth-watering. And that's the idea I got when I entered into here, so home like. I wouldn't change anything when it comes to the decor. The chicken I had they were humongous size pieces. I know it has nothing to do with the restaurantit has everything to do with the USDA ,chickens don't have legs the size of dinosaurs but these were humongously large LOL. but they were excellent. I like the fact that I could look around me and feel comfortable purchasing something I know. Such as soda Inca I can't find that in my neighborhood and I'm so glad that I found a neighborhood that sells it along with some good taste in food. I'll be back trust me I...
Read moreWe found this place through Google Reviews from a fellow local guide’s post! We ordered one chicken taco and one bistec, just to try the place out, but when the tacos came, they were PACKED! The chicken was actual pieces rather than bits, the beef was flavorful, and the cilantro/onion mix was there! However, each taco was $4.50, which is a little high compared to other places, and honestly, I’ve had better tacos for less money, but nonetheless, these tacos were still great! The service was a bit slow, they served other people before us who’d sat down before us, (We were taking to-go, that might be why) but was definitely worth the wait! The restaurant itself has a nice, humble vibe with 3-4 tables to sit, but the counter is a little close to the tables so 4 stars there. Overall, pretty...
Read moreIf you love a large plate of nachos loaded with cheese then this is your place. For $12, we were able to share a large plate for dinner and we even had a hard time finishing the plate. I only gave 4/5 stars for the food because it was a bit on the heavier side for me and the nachos could be freshly fried.
However, the ambiance made up for it. The store had some very cool decor that made you feel like you are in Mexico. Plus, they sell hot food and a lot of random snacks which add to the overall vibe of the place. It was very home-y and gave me a feel of being in a...
