Tibbits Park — Attraction in City of White Plains

Are you looking for a fun place to come and just get outside and enjoy the weather? The Kensico Dam is definitely the spot for that.

It's free to get in, with beautiful scenery and great events all throughout the summer. It's a big place so even when it gets crowded it's not overwhelming.

What I like best is the fact that it's very well maintained. A lot of the time, government run places that are free to go to end up getting left in the dust with cleanliness. This couldn't be further from the truth with the Kensico Dam.

Trevis Park transported me to a world of wonder. The playful melodies of a nearby fountain danced in harmony with the laughter of children. Lush greenery embraced me as I explored hidden nooks and crannies. The scent of blooming flowers mingled with the earthy aroma of the forest, creating an intoxicating blend. I basked in the golden sunlight, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. Trevis Park was a sanctuary where time stood still, leaving me refreshed...

This might be my favorite part of White Plains, because you can enjoy a park setting while also being surrounded by the city, and some of the most beautiful pre-war apartment buildings in White Plains. However, dogs are NOT ALLOWED in this park, so please walk your dogs elsewhere (there are "NO DOGS ALLOWED" signs at every entrance...
