Meatloaf plate with mash potatoes, gravy and navy beans. And she had a fresh cooked blueberry pie which was still warm that she said I should have too because it just was finished cooling so I did, and the crust was a perfect lard or crisco crust. Read moreWe happened to be in Claremore recently, and wanted to give Dot's a go. VERY glad we did. As others have mentioned, Dot's is a hole in the wall for sure. Very small and cozy (as in you can almost sample your neighbor's plate, it's that close), it nonetheless is a neat little place to eat. The Wife got the basic pancake breakfast and had way more than she could manage. She was very happy with everything, there was just a lot of food. I had an omelet, hash browns and biscuit/gravy. Read moreBack in time... I took my two young, 8 & 9, grandsons to Dot's after visiting the Will Rogers birthplace. It was wonderful. A waitress patient with two little boys who couldn't decide between breakfast and a hamburger - they both went for breakfast. A small interior with several booths and about the same number of counter stools. I went for the hamburger. It was absolutely not frozen and not machine made. The fries were hand cut. Both were delicious. The boys loved their bacon, pancakes and eggs. The three of us shared a piece of cherry pie with ice cream for dessert. Also wonderful.
