King's New York Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Clarksburg

My family and I enjoy so many things on the menu from King's. All of us love the pizzas, round or square, you can't go wrong. Calamari with marinara sauce is mine & my daughter's favorite appetizer.(the marinara sauce is SO good and I'm very picky with red sauces) My husband & I love the Steak Cheese Sub, wings, and salads. (house dressing is delicious) My son likes the Super Italian Sub. My favorites are the pasta dishes Chicken Maximo and Chicken Balsamic. The dinner portions are huge and come with 2 very large chicken breasts & tons of yummy veggies, homemmade bread and a salad. I always make it into 2 meals and reheat it in my toaster oven and it reheats perfectly without the pasta getting mushy! We've not tried much from the Mexican food menu except salsa & cheese dip with chips. They were good too. We've ran into long wait times before, but that just goes to show that they have great food and stay busy. Their food is also very consistent which means a lot to me as a restaurant...

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Called in around 3:15pm on a Friday afternoon for an order of Spaghetti Carbonara which comes with a side salad and bread, and gave them my estimated pick-up time.

Having never been here before I wasn't sure were to go for a pick-up order, and once inside was greeted by a young gentleman (Paul) who went in back to check on my order. Quick to return with everything, he offered me a copy of their Mexican menu in addition to their regular menu as I was being rung up. I also picked up a Pepperoni Roll (to eat Saturday) and it looks very tasty.

Once home I was surprise at the size of the side salad which was very nice, as was the little loaf of sliced bread. The real treat came with the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was fantastic with strips of bacon, a decadent sauce, and nicely portioned where I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. For the price this is an exceptional value.

So I ordered from here before I went to work. I got the chicken fajita with no tomatoes and picked up the order before heading to my job. I checked my food when I was at work and noticed tomatoes in my fajita. I called and spoke to the staff there and explained the issue. They told me I could come in for a replacement. I informed them I was at work and was unable to come back out to pick up food. The owner was notified of the situation and next thing I know, I was offered a new meal to be delivered to my job. The owner didn’t have to do this, they could have told me another day or stated they couldn’t bring it but they didn’t, they offered to bring it so I would have something to eat. I honestly wish I could give this place and the staff there more than 5 stars because they deserve it.
