I first walked in and there was nothing going on nor was it busy and not one person behind the counter. One of the baristas was sitting off to the side at a table but I didn't pay attention to what she was doing. This is my first time here and I'm new to the area, so it was pretty off-putting that I wasn't even greeted or spoken to even when we were directly face to face. I had to initiate with a simple greeting and ordered a cold brew. They were out. I ordered iced coffee (black) and it tasted really bitter. I sat down at a booth, did my work for a bit and left. I didn't order food so can't speak to that, but for all the good reviews maybe my expectations were too high? I love supporting local businesses so much and this place came highly recommended. Hopefully this is only a couchable moment, but a smile and a welcoming attitude can...
Read moreUsually my experience is fine. I mostly order the breakfast sandwiches, which are really good, but be prepared to be waiting at the window for at least 5 minutes after paying when you get a sandwich. Today however, I was very unimpressed with my visit. I ordered a small hot drink. Obviously hot drinks come fairly hot, and I wanted to drink it right away, so I asked for it at a drinkable temperature (which I’ve done at all other coffee shops as it’s a very normal request) and Olivia taking my order decided to laugh at me. If you wanna laugh about me wanting a cooler temp after I leave by all means do it, but maybe not great customer service to laugh at your customer on the speaker. Put me in a very off mood about coming here. Extremely unprofessional behavior. I worked 2+ years in a coffee shop and NEVER treated my...
Read moreThis coffee shop focuses most on the Hipster image, rather than quality of coffee. It tasted like stomach bile mixed with pond water. In all seriousness, it just tastes like burnt coffee and smells like burnt hair. You can tell they try to make gourmet, fancy coffee and they fail horribly in execution. I highly recommend any coffee connoisseurs to take their business elsewhere. The atmosphere caters to the type of person who prefers their music on vinyl record and can't stop telling people how much better it is that digital. Fortunately these type of people flock to this location and you can really kill two birds with one stone by not going here; avoiding terrible coffee and snooty (albeit hot) customer service AND you can avoid the type of person who regularly...
