My husband and I used to frequent the bb.q chicken location in El Paso so when we moved to TN naturally it was one place we were missing greatly. We were happy to see there was one not too far from where we live, it is still a bit of a drive though. Hour and a half to be exact but we figured we really liked their food so it would be worth the drive. First off I will say that I do think these are franchises so each location is ran different. I’ve also been to a couple locations in Cali and those were very different from one another as well. Some of them are set up like a restaurant where you are sat at a table and served by a waiter. But others, like this one, are more in between being a restaurant and a fast food location. Here, you order your food, they give you a number and bring your food to your table when it is ready. I’ll go with the bad first: My husband and I were super excited to get their cheesling fries. It was literally our favorite menu item when we were in TX. Unfortunately here they drench the fries with some kind of sauce that really ruined it for us. I don’t know why they do it that way but I think the cheesling fries taste 100 times better without a sauce. Also, we ordered their kimchi fried rice because it’s an item other locations don’t offer so I wanted to try it. It’s very oily. So off-putting for me. We ate a little of it but ended up not wanting to take the rest home. I highly do NOT recommend it. And if you order the cheesling fries then I strongly recommend you ask them NOT to cover it in sauce. As for the good: their chicken is like the standard bbq.q chicken that my husband and I are used to. HUGE pieces and very crunchy and moist! My favorite flavor is the honey garlic and my husband likes the cheesling. Definitely the highlight of our meal! The service was great too! The gentleman working the register was friendly. My husband thought it was strange that he was dressed in sweatpants, a sweatshirt and a beanie with Bear ears but I figure maybe this location doesn’t really have a dress code. Although there was a gentleman working right next to him that was dressed professionally in a polo and slacks. But despite their dress code, the man was great with taking our order and bringing it to our table. Not really sure we’d make the hour and a half drive back to this location. I gave them 4 stars but honestly I think it’s more like a 3.5 because those cheesling fries with the sauce really ruined my meal. I was looking forward to it so much and was just bummed the way they prepare it. Maybe they should update their menu to say it included a sauce on it because other locations don’t make it like that and it’s SO much better without. But yea, I’ll be nice and give 4 stars even though it was closer to a 3.5 for me. Chicken was delicious and customer service was good.

I was inclined to eat here because my coworkers had ordered from them the day prior and it seemed really good. The cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful. The things that I dislike were: not being able to try different sauces on an 8 piece (the cashier said that due to how they prepared the chicken it would be hard to do and he recommended ordering a 16 piece and they would be able to do it for an up charge of $1), they do not have free hot sauce (my chicken was considered as spicy level one but it was not spicy at all, I purchased the hot sauce they had available for almost $3) lastly their combinations only come with 6 pieces and a portioned side. Over all the chicken was good but pricy for a single person. If I was trying to feed a family and didn’t mind ordering 2-4 different types I might have enjoyed my experience a little more. I don’t feel like I got the full experience of eating here but I wouldn’t mind going there again with a crowd. I would have appreciated if they had a sampler bucket or something, due to the fact that we don’t know what the difference sauces taste like so it’s hard to figure out what you want and if you don’t like the flavor you get, your essentially stuck with it unless you want to spend another $15-$20.

I’m very relieved to find a place that sells Korean fried chicken in Clarksville that tastes like actual ones sold in Korea. Located conveniently across the movie theater and has ample amount of parking spaces. It’s pricey in my opinion but it’s one of the few places where you can get flavor that cannot be found elsewhere in Clarksville. I ordered half and half (whole chicken) combo with golden fried and secret sauce, Rose rice cake “ddeok-bokki” (mild flavor) for take out. Just a caution, if you can’t handle spicy go with “Rose” flavor. Secret sauce is not spicy at all, it’s tangy and it’s most popular flavor in Korea. Stick to the traditional half and half if you’re new and slowly work your way up to trying other flavors. Surprisingly, even the pickled-cubed radish tastes the exactly the same from Korea. Highly recommend this place a try if you crave Korean fried chicken.

10/10 would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was our first time. We got the golden original half chicken, small 8 ct honey garlic bone in wings, kimchi fried rice 🔥 with complementary pickled radish option. Starting off they let us know there was a 15-20 min wait on food, so I knew right away it's fresh because there was only one couple there when we came and maybe 2 Doordash orders. She brought the kimichi fried rice first. The fried egg on top is crispy on the sides and I love that and topped with toasted sesame seeds it gave a beautiful flavor and smell. It had green bell pepper, green onions and chicken so it's very filling dish and served in a big bowl and it has a kick 🔥 but the pickled radish is so very helpful here because it cleanses the palate and cools down the spice. I recommend taking a bite of radish between trying the different flavors. Next, the chicken came out and it's super fresh and hot. The golden original has a slight sweet smell to it and amazing crunch. The chicken is very juicy and delicious. The honey garlic is my favorite, it's sweet and savory. I love how their chicken stays crunchy even when tossed in the sauce. Most places can't do that! Korean fried chicken is delicious! Also, the pickled radish is not salty nor briny tasting for the those who dislike pickled vegetables. It actually is sweet, refreshing...
