Very terrible place and oddly couldnât find my review so I edited it again so people will see this and know just how petty their management is. This location doesnât care about people or their PAYING customers. I am glad I edited this because I did call corporate and even they were disgusted in how they choose to handle this. Even the cop who dealt with the situation said that the management did nothing but waste their valuable resources and time in how they choose to handle it. Anyone with a heart will know how pathetic this is too. When the cop didnât even want to do thisâŠso I ordered McDonaldâs for my two teenage nephews, myself and my sister in law and my friend who is staying with us. It was kinda late we had a very long day and McDonaldâs was legit behind our house and open 24 hours a day. I ordered a 4 piece Mchicken meal with a 20 piece McNugget and 4 drinks and a share basket of fries. My girlfriend who was staying with us said they would go get it on foot. Place was legit behind our house. So we said ok cool. She got there and saw the lobby was closed. There wasnât a car in site at the drive thru or anything. So she went up to the last pick up window and said screw it I will just ask there. When she did she was polite and non bilegerent or anything of that nature. The lady than proceeded to say no you need to have a car, so she politely said hey look Iâm sorry I donât have one, the kids are hungry they had track meets and all. The manager than started giving parenting advice saying âmaybe we should of fed our kids at a normal time like normal parents do and how normal people have cars and how maybe if she had a car she would be able to pick up food and that this service a luxury for people who actually are productive citizens who can actually afford a car and to get her homeless self out the drive thruâ my friend doesnât lie. I know she didnât make any of this up. She reacted calmly and way better than I would of. How disgusting. How terrible is this? How dare you even think your better than anyone else to down talk a PAYING CUSTOMER! I paid for this food with my hard earned money ! Itâs just McDonaldâs. Yall get my order wrong when I use my luxurious car to come thru your drive thru any other time I have been there. You could have just been cool, passed over the food and said hey this time fine next time please have a car. You could have done without the down talking, the parenting advice, and the rudeness all together to assume my friend was even homeless. Even than is that how you speak to people? itâs food, just food. You could have just passed it through considering I had proof of purchase. You than told my friend you would be right back; she thought you were getting the food, you called the police instead. Waisting their time over a girl who did essentially nothing wrong, than banned a paying customer away from your restaurant. The cop came and even begged you to let this go and just hand it over, saying she had better things to do, you insisted on pressing those charges and banning your paying customers because we no longer go there either. We would spend maybe 100 a week on yall. You lost us as customers, this didnât have to go this far, no there isnât more to this story. The cop even bought food for my nephews and met her back around the corner highly disgusted at how her time was to waisted. Management represents the joint as a whole. Your manager is a heartless snob on a super power trip. There was zero need of that. Just hand over the food even if never again. Your McDonaldâs not some 5 star restaurant. You do paying customers like this over food you probably threw out after, nice job. There wasnât even cars in the drive thru thatâs why she attempted to try. What was the big deal and even than was all that necessary? Just hand over the food even if never again. No one Iâve spoken to agrees with how she handled it, not even the cop on the scene liked it and said she would vouche for what happened if we wanted to go further with this. People need to know you treated people. Your...
Read moreI am currently sitting at the drive through at this âOpen 24 hoursâ McDonalds, waiting for them to re-open. I got to the drive through tonight at 2:05 am. As I pulled around into the drive through I could see into the glass building 4-5 employees leisurely sitting in the dining area. It seemed to me that they were all simulaneoisly taking a break. I thought to myself, âI bet they are going to tell me that the âcomputer is downâ and they âcanât take ordersâ although they are a supposedly open 24 hours. This seems to be the usual excuse for fast food joints in the Clarksville, TN area. When I approached the speaker, the McDonaldâs employee told me that they were currently closed and wouldnât be opened for another 15 to 20 minutes. Iâve never heard that one- so this peaks my interest. McDonaldâs was my first job in high school and Iâve never heard of them closing down for 15-20 minutes. After my initial split second of annoyance, I honestly felt amused. So at this point, I am deciding to play their little game. So I said, âoh really? Thatâs fine, Iâll wait.â The bewildered guy said, âReally? Youâre going to wait 15-20 minutes.â âSure, thatâs fine, Iâll wait.â So here I am waiting.
Update 2:10am: another car pulled up to the second speaker and the employee also told him it will be 15-20 minutes. Does my time restart?
Update 2:18: He says heâs walking to the window now.
Update 2:20: I say out loud that itâs officially been 15 minutes.
Update 2:21: the employee says his computer is booting up. There is now a car behind me.
Update 2:23: they took my order. But I really had half a mind to ask them for a few minutes to decide my order. Lol
Update 2:30: paid for my food but Iâm still waiting. Iâm sure they are just making sure I get the really special sauce on my burger.
Update 2:32: finally got my food. Everything seems to be there. So I guess they got that right.
All and all, 1 out of five stars because that was the slowest fast food Iâve ever experienced at McDonaldâs for being the first one in line. đ€·đ»ââïž
Update 2:39: I am back at McDonaldâs because I just saw that my cheeseburger was actually a McChicken with ketchup, cheese, and onions. So Iâm back. Iâm pretty sure...
Read moreIf any of the McDonald's back home in Chattanooga, TN operated THIS slowly and inefficiently on the regular basis, The DM would have replaced either the shift manager or the store manager way before the store got even got as bad as this morning was. Never trying this specific location again when I am in town. Speed of Service wasn't even worth a $6 per hour pay in today's economy, let alone a surviveable wage. See Kayla Silvey's reveiw for part of the reason we stayed behind only 2 other cars in Line 1(closest to the building) for 16 minutes while 4 cars were processed in a row in Line 2 during those 15 minutes and then almost a whole minute to to start taking orders from Line 1.
UPDATE 3 YEARS LATER- after 3 years, I decided to give this place another try with a mobile order. I would have done better to stay in my lane and went anywhere else in this town for chicken nuggets, a Big Mac, and fries instead.
#1. When the app notifies you that your order is ready for pickup AFTER selecting "on my way" and en route, After a 8 minute drive to the Mcdonald's I should not have had to wait an extra 5 minutes for my order to be completed and ready for pickup.
#2 doing mobile pickup orders on a first name only basis makes as much sense as a football bat. It makes it easier to receive the WRONG order accidently, EASIER for people who steal online and mobile orders to get free food that other people have already paid for, & creates an unnecessary amount of confusion if 2 people with the same 1st name are in the line with similar orders.
Why does the sweet tea taste like lake water with a pinch of sugar added to it???
Why does the fountain Sprite that was ordered have absolutely no bubbles or carbonation whatsoever????
Why does the Orange Fanta have such a bad aftertaste to it???
why should Doordashers, have to park against the building and then get blocked in by the Drive Thru line if the app is supposed to be easier, faster, and more convenient than dining in or spending at least 15 minutes...
