I really like the atmosphere of this place. The owner is so nice and the people who work here have always been so kind and fun. I’m not happy with their prices though. There’s hardly any bars in Clarksville, and this place up-charges like crazy. I paid $8 for a vodka cranberry because they said the only “well” vodka they can use is Tito’s. I’ve never heard of that. Most bars always carry a cheap vodka. A “well” rum is $7. If you come in after 11:00 you have to pay $10 to get in instead of $5. It’s just sad that there’s not many places to hang out in Clarksville and I have to pay Nashville prices to come here. My last complaint is I have been told 3 times that they serve food till 1:00AM. Both times I’ve asked to order food was around 12:30/12:40 and they said they weren’t serving food anymore. Stick to your times! Like I said I love the atmosphere, but they could definitely make some changes with their prices and offer more selection on drinks for those who don’t wanna pay $8-$10 for a tiny single shot drink. I’m not sure I’ll be back after paying what I...
Read moreSaw this place was locally rated very high for burgers, and thought we would try it. It is advertised to be open for business at 3p on Wednesdays. We arrived about 3:15 p.m. or so.
I was immediately put off by the excessive and aggressive signage prohibiting firearms and another sign prohibiting all knives and any other type of item that could be considered a weapon. Frustrated by the unwelcoming tone, we decided to try it anyway.
Once inside, we were immediately and graciously greeted and told we could sit anywhere. She very kindly added that food wasn't available until 4 pm and probably couldn't start after prep until 15 or 20 minutes after that. Already irritated by their rude over signage and now a 45+ minute wait for food service, we left.
Just me but a place needs to have a welcoming feeling and be ready and able to provide service at opening time unless specifically stated. In other words, they should have been ready to do business at 3p without fail. They should also not insult their law-abiding and...
Read moreI was super excited to try this place since it re-opened. However, the food and drinks were not good and way overpriced. I was charged over $16 for some nachos with nothing but cheese, a few pieces of tomato and some green onion. No meat or anything else. Barely any cheese and had to ask for more to cover at least half the chips. Got an extra $1.50 charge for that as well. I understand that the grill was closed down so no meat, but I should've been told that because I would not have paid $16 for some mediocre concession-stand quality chips and cheese. They also use little cough medicine cap looking things to measure their shots which are around 15mL, the standardized size for a shot is 44mL. Beware that you also have to pay a $5 cover charge (cash only) to get in and all credit card charges once inside have a minimum of $30. I had such high hopes for this place, but I was sadly very disappointed. I don't leave bad reviews often, but this was just not an enjoyable...
