Iâve now been to this restaurant twice, and unfortunately, both visits have been underwhelming. I initially gave them a second chance, but my second visit makes me not want to return.
The worst part of the visit, by far, was the behavior of two young employees named William and Theo. As I was eating, I witnessed them taking an order from an elderly woman. Shockingly, after she walked away, they started laughing and visibly mocking her. It was extremely upsetting and completely unprofessional. I was so disturbed by what I saw that I asked the girls at the bakery counter for their names.
Regarding the food, my sandwich was made incorrectly. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, a young woman inspected it with her gloves still on (which she had been using for other tasks), then handed me a single slice of cheese to fix it. On top of that, the bread was rock hard. When I pointed it out, I was told they âbake the bread dailyâ and have a âbread refresherâ.We also tried the shortbread. It crumbled like dry sand and was completely flavorless. The girls at the bakery are sweet.
I rarely write reviews, but this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth. I wonât be returning, and I sincerely hope management addresses the customer service issues here. No one deserves to be...

A few more people get in line, eventually some kid with a tablet comes out and walks to the order here sign, which is now where the end of the line is. She starts taking random orders with zero regard as to who was there first. She ends up with a circle of people around her, and a second girl comes out with a tablet and starts taking orders. I give my order and my wife gives hers. I order a pastrami on French bread with provolone cheese. Wife then has to go stand in line at another counter to pay and get drinks. Ten minutes in that line was no big deal, as it took twenty minutes for the sandwich to come out, even with six people behind the sandwich counter. Pastrami sandwich with provolone was exactly that. A six inch pastrami and cheese, dry, with nothing else on it. There was a construction site down the street, should have given one of those guys ten bucks for whatever sandwich he had in his lunch box, would have been money...
Read moreWent with a party of 6 for lunch... it was a bit crowded, and it took us a few minutes of waiting to round up 6 spots. The dining area is a bit spartan, and the tables are small. Most everyone enjoyed their items, but nothing was addictive. I had the Reuben, and the bread was dry. (A classic Reuben generally has buttered bread that has been lightly pan sautéed and is buttery - even a bit greasy - to the touch. ) We took home a variety of bakery items... The baklava was not bad - but would definitely benefit from a good drench of honey. The cream horn was okay - although only 2/3 filled with cream. Clayton has become a culinary destination in NE Georgia and has many fine dining establishments. If Henri's wants to flourish, it will need to step up its game. And, hopefully - with a bit of time - it will. After the dust of recently opening has settled, we'll definitely give it...
