I have tried this place several times after reading the reviews. I don't see what all the hype is about. My last breakfast meal, eggs were over cooked and warm at best,a server who smelled like an ashtray was running around serving all over the restaurant. Maybe they were short staffed, its not relaxing watching two servers run around. Dinner special menu choices are a JOKE,if you like some kind of chicken soup you are in luck. Sausage sandwich, Quesadilla,Bean burrito as an entree,or maybe the roast pork with stuffing where the price varies by day. It started out $9.95,two days later its $11.95,then $12.95, back to $11.95.I guess they spin the wheel of fortune to set the price. Grilled or fresh vegetables is too much to ask for,a can of some vegetable slathered in sauce or cheese is your choice. Six guys invaded the Clearwater Family Restaurant this morning for breakfast. They didn't panic even though there was only one waitress for the whole place. She was both friendly and efficient. She quickly took our orders. Seemed to take just a few seconds and there was water, coffee and juice in front of each of us. Our food orders came out shortly after that (with no mistakes). The meals looked, smelled, and tasted great. All the hot stuff was still hot, and the cold stuff was cold. One of the owners stopped at the table to chat. Someone said the cheese cake here is great. So, I ordered a piece to share for dessert (yes, after breakfast). It's incredible.
