Frankie's Deli — Restaurant in Clearwater

This is my 3rd attempt going here. DONT GO THERE!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! Read the reviews they dont even use use cuban bread and both our sandwiches were hard as a rock. They dont use any form of gloves for anything. They dont even know how to cook. She cant pay attention to the food too busy letting food sit there. While one person is out sweeping and she stops making the food to take phone calls. Neither of which ever washed their hands once nor used any gloves. NO THANKS!!!! Then leaves my Cuban and the Tuna Melt on the grill for 15 MINUTES. The place was empty still took almost 20 minutes to get me out the door. Paid $20 for two crunch wraps. This was third time there wont go again. She left our food on the hot press to talk to some customer about Facebook for the deli. It appears that should be the least of the worries. To say I’m disappointed with the food would be an understatement. First time getting a sub here and I am amazed at how rock solid the bread was. We got a total of 3-4 subs and every one of them had bread so rock hard that we had to just remove the meat and eat it without the bread because we didn’t have anymore time during lunch to go back and have them remade. My mouth hurts after attempting to bite into it as a whole. I’m not saying this to be mean at all but the person making the food should definitely be more mindful before wrapping the food and giving it off to the customers. We love Traci!!! Hardest worker we know!!! We have been her neighbor- met her because of her insane love of Rotti dogs❤️ . We also have large dogs lol - but we finally made it down there and WHAT!!! Best Italian Grinder I’ve had in like forever- and she hot pressed it! That was a first and now I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to eat it any other way. ❤️ Hubby had Cuban - also pressed hot and he was blown away!
