McDonald's — Restaurant in Clearwater

Went to McDonald's earlier this week during the day and had a wonderful experience with the daytime manager. He handled everything exactly how it should be done. Hopefully you can find more people like him because we went there tonight on the 13th and dealt with one of the most unpleasant people I've ever experienced. After she rang our order up she told us that our accounts were linked which they are not in that we should just leave if we weren't happy with everything. So we lost 3,350 points that we are using towards a 🍟. So I went back in and said I will at least take the fry because that's not right to lose all those points just because you're very nasty and rude. So then I waited for the fries and when she handed them to me I reached into grab a few ketchups which were right on the side and she snatched them away from me and told me that I needed to ask for ketchup. Then she told me that she was going to call the police because I reached to grab some ketchup I told her that she was a horrible customer service representative and has no business doing what she does if she's that unhappy. She wanted to call the police on me for trying to take ketchup packets for my fries. Then she told me never to come back into the restaurant after 2:00 p.m. that I'm not ever welcome there again. It's these kind of people that just hurt the industry so bad we did the same order 3 days earlier and had no problems at all with the day manager. If I could rate him I would give him five stars across the board cuz he deserves it he understands how to speak to people and how to figure out a situation if there is an issue. This lady needs to move on and do something else because she is not helping McDonald's out at all. Plus her appearance was very unpleasant she looked like she hasn't showered her clothes were dirty she had her shirt unbuttoned halfway down and she just looked nasty. Like I wanted somebody like that touching my food it just really turned me off. Please do something about this person this McDonald's is very close to where I live and I do try to go there once a week or so and usually there's no problems because I go during the day but at night I know the sales are way down compared to the day because of this person. Well, not sure where to start, so the drive through was packed and I had to be at work so I decided to walk in and order. That was a mistake. When I got in, two employees were ordering to go as they were off work. They stood there for 5 minutes trying to decide what they wanted. Finally they ordered and moved out of the way and I got to order. Simple order 2 things. Well, the employees behind the counter were more interested in talking to the two employees waiting on their free meal. As they were waiting, one of them said they didnt undetstand how anyone would come to McDonalds on a Sunday. Shouldnt they cook breakfast, stay home and enjoy their Sunday like he does when he doesnt have to work. Yes, loud enough for me to hear, 6 feet away. Finally they got their free food and mine came up next, at this time, I have been there 10 minutes. Only the sandwich came up, it took another 2 minutes to get my drink. All in all, I was standing in the lobby for about 10 to 12 minutes before I was able to leave with my stuff, the cars in front of me, well would have been in front of me, had already moved through and gone in less than 5 minutes. Customer service is a joke at this mcdonald’s. Every time i come to this location i am not happy and there ALWAYS seems to be an issue . I ordered four ranches on the app with my food and they only gave me one… when I asked for all of my sauces, they said they would have to charge me, because the app does not which makes no sense given that it was included in my mobile order .Thats like saying no ice unless i am charged extra for it !!! Ordered my food to be brought to the table and it just sat up there and by the time I grabbed my food, it was cold and my drink was watered down .Ridiculous . Meanwhile you have co workers on lunch with 6 sauces !!!!! Seems as if everyone here needs to start searching for a new job expect the janitor she is very sweet and friendly . The manager was sitting in the lobby meeting with someone and seemed very bothered to get up and assist me and then told the workers in the back to watch the counter , horrible attitude. No smile , no apology … again horrible...
